Great 1st stop on our trip to charlottesville! No wait when we arrived, staff are very friendly and resturant is clean. Our meal came out quick and hot. We had the truffle fries and Spicy Thai shrimp for apps. Dinner we had the scallops and the hangover burger. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. They have an extensive beer menu and a decent wine list & cocktail menu.
Wish I could comment on the food but unfortunately cannot due to the lack of service we received. We arrived at 5pm on a Tuesday and requested to be seated outside as we had brought our dog with us. We were quoted a 20 minute wait, fine it is during happy hour and it was a popular place. After about 30 minutes we went in to check on the wait as we had seen 3 tables get sat outside that showed up after us. At this point, they told us we weren't on the list. I spoke with the original hostess and she remembered me and apologized and said she had a large group come in but can clear off a table. After another 10 minutes she said she had to clear off a table and it would be another 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile there are 3 open tables on the patio. Leaving frustrated and hungry.
Stopped in for dessert and beers. The beer selection is second to none. The beer manager Avery is very knowledgeable about each beer and pairing beers. The peanut butter chocolate cake was incredible. I would advise you to pair it with a Lost Creek Brewery Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout or a Lexington Brewing Co. Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale
Out of town visitors that stoped for lunch. Arrived when they opened at 11:30. Place was very busy for lunch. It was a beautiful day and we elected to eat outside. Enjoyed the margarita flatbread and a salad. Both were delicious and beautifully presented.
Great local place to visit while in town for a wedding. Great atmosphere and the food was just as good. Ordered a medium rare steak and unfortunately it came very much rare.
We were traveling and read the reviews for your Taphouse. Happy we stopped in for a great chicken sandwich, a draft beer and a cab wine. Was delicious and fast friendly service. We recommend Sedona Taphouse.
My husband brought me here for lunch on my birthday. Not a single complaint or negative thing to say.The atmosphere was pleasant, the cleanliness was good, our server, Sabir, was awesome. The food was out of this world! The portions were perfect! The cheesecake was big enough to share and it was the tastiest creamiest cheesecake I've ever had!I took pics but this review didn't give me an option to share them.
Wonderful, cozy feel with friendly staff. The crab cakes were amazing! Large craft beer list. Will definitely be back!
Great environment, great food and great service. The menu is awesome with lots of variety.
Excellent food, decent wine list. Professional staff was stretched by large crowds before the Duke @ UVa basketball game, but was still attentive and friendly. Will definitely come again when our travels bring us through C’ville.
