Food is so Fresh and delicious

This little place stays pretty hopping. Not a lot of room for parking and there aren't a lot of tables for eating in.... BUT... the people are unbelievably friendly and welcoming. They treated us like we've been coming there for years. It was really wonderful. The onion rings were great and we had some of the most mouth watering burgers ever! Will definitely come again.
Food was amazing, was my partner and my first time going there. Staff was super friendly and helpful with answering questions we had! Certainly suggest making sure to try the onion rings

Thanks, to my aunt and uncle from near RVA who suggested we meet up at Riverside Lunch; where the service is real, the fries and onion rings are crispy, the burgers juicy, and the homemade desserts can’t be passed up. The parking lot and dining room were jammed but we easily found parking and a table in the midst of this lively place that pays homage to all things UVA. Before we could give the menu a glance, our server was back with beverage orders. We lingered a bit over our meals deciding where would be our next stop but were never rushed. We’ll return soon to this unpretentious gem.

This place has the best burgers I've ever had in Charlottesville. The burgers were greasy, flavorful, and crunchy on the edges. I also loved the fries: crispy, fluffy on the inside, and their seasoning salt paired with them wonderfully. Definitely recommend this place for cheap, but quality, fast food.
My fiancé and I always ask ourselves this when we eat Riverside: “how and why?!” Its an unsuspecting place that’s cheap with a straightforward menu. But it’s SO good for no reason. The smash burger is amazing. We literally eat it plain every time. Never disappointed when we order this food. It’s fresh every time. Believe the good reviews!
The staff is very attentive, as soon as i walked in the chef asked me dine in or picking up! Truly enjoyed the hamburger & cheeseburger with the cheese balls as a side! The hostess at the register offered a unique recommendation of hot mustard with the cheese balls, she nailed it! You will have an incredible meal here,and be smiling when you leave!
My boyfriend and I found this spot because we were super hungry around lunchtime. The food is cheap and good, especially if you have a hangover and need some greasy food. Food was ready pretty quickly and the service was great!
