There were 3 of us. My food was fine. However, both my friends had some complaints about their food. The vegetables were not grilled long enough and the cauliflower was not cooked long enough. I will come back again.
Second time we have been there and this time we were very disappointed. Had to ask about our food after seeing others served that arrived well after us. One plate came cold the other they forgot to put the side dish (the meal with an empty little bowl on it ). The cold kabobs not as tasty as first time. The waiter didnât check if we if needed more water or additional drinks even after needing to wait longer for food ( waiter forgot he had taken our order/didnât out the order in). No apologies for the long wait.
Had a great meal the first time we were there. The second time the fried chicken was over cooked and the chips were stale. Great waitress though.
Lovely staff and our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu.
Our food was very good, although the dinner salad portions were a little small, in my opinion. But they were tasty! Highlight was the white chocolate bread pudding that was more than enough to share. Very pleasant server.
Food was outstanding and great beer selection. Terrific, attentive wait staff. Highly recommend Coach Holland meatloaf. Best collard greens I have had in a long time.
I love that Ralph has lent his name to a Charlottesville eatery - he deserves all the recognition he can get for his positive impact on Charlottesville and UVa. The restaurant is a good upscale sports bar, food was good but not remarkable, and our major complaint being there at noon on a Sunday was that the music was turned up way too loud - we could barley speak to folks at our own table. Such music levels might be appropriate on Friday/Saturday evenings when the bar gets packed, but it was way over the top for a purely dining experience.
I really enjoyed this place my only con is that we couldnât finish all our food lol.
The food was very good and the fish and chips, at least for the fish was some of the best I have ever tasted. It was so delicate juicy Krispy. The chips were good but chips are chips. They did have a nice seasoning on them. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal
Went for restaurant week and we split the cornbread, watermelon and feta salad, salmon, chicken and waffles, cheesecake and brownie sundae. Great value, everything was really good (particularly the cornbread and chicken and waffles) and service was great. Will be back.
