We attended my brother's birthday bash at the Holiday Inn. After the party, we stopped by Cane's for a late night snack. My son highly recommended Cane's as it was his go to spot when he lived in Florida. His recommendation stands as a very tasty meal! Only draw back was the tables were not cleaned immediately after people finished eating. Also, the floor was pretty trashed, but again, it was late and I guess they were keeping up as best they could. Still a good spot for some good chow...
Great place! Busy, but great atmosphere. The employees were all in good spirits, it appeared. They enjoy their jobs.
Place was very busy, but they had an employee outside directing traffic which was very helpful. Food was very good too. The cashier didn't call my name when she put my order on the pickup rack, so I didn't know if it was mine until I walked over.
Idk maybe it’s just me. The food wasn’t that good . The coleslaw didn’t have a taste to it . The fries were the best thing on my plate. I’m not a fan of breast and that’s what the tenders taste like ??♀️. Overall fast service.
I loved the food: I got the Box Combo. I loved, loved, loved the buttered Texas toast. The chicken tenders were also delicious and I enjoyed the special sauce. Another treat was the Peanuts cartoon theme at the restaurant. I just love Peanuts, so it was cool to see so much motif based on them. It gave me a warm and cared about feeling.
I love going to this place for a tailgate 25-piece and having leftovers in the fridge for a few days. My daughter loves them in her school lunch box. If you get fries, order extra crispy and they are still hot when you get home. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the crazy drive through and traffic off 29. I wish they would get their online ordering going again. That was so much easier! I'd order and pay online and then just duck in to pick up my bag. maybe they stopped because of staffing issues?

I love their chicken. 5 stars for that.But something makes me really upset. 4 times out of the last 7 visits (I buy chicken from them once a week), they have messed up my order. I ordered the 6-piece chicken (I think they call it Caniac), and when we got home, we realized they gave us the 4-piece chicken instead. I love the food, but I am not sure if I like to go back regularly as we usually end up being hungry. Long line, wrong food, hungry after meal... I am not happy.
Did you know if you don't like coleslaw you can substitute for an extra piece of bread?This chicken is so juicy and tender ???
We were going through Charlottesville on a Thanksgiving trip and noticed that two police cars were guarding the line at this place. So, on the way back we stopped and got the chicken fingers. They are incredible! They were freshly cooked, hot, and juicy. The Texas Toast that comes with them is amazing as well, they have a great garlic butter on them.
