If you are looking for real pho and you know what that tastes like, this ain’t it. The pho was a 3/10… cloudy, the beef broth wasn’t flavorful and there was too much white onion. The beef was tough and overcooked and the meatballs were massive. The pork spring rolls was 90% lettuce with a sliver of pork and some noodles. The Vietnamese coffee was… not Vietnamese coffee. Tasted like something poured out of a carton you could have bought from any grocery store. Overall, inauthentic.
This was our first time eating from here. We got it to go as we were planning on doing a picnic since it was a beautiful day. When we got to our location to eat we discovered there were no utensils. How does one eat Pho without utensils?! I had happened to get food from somewhere else too for our picnic so we had 1 fork to share and also found some straws in my car to use as chopsticks. I thought it was a bit overpriced too. It also wasn't very flavorful. Overall disappointing and we won't be returning.
Really bad customer service. We ordered thai tea but what happens we got our food but the server forgot to give us tea. Like how come you eat without water or drink. They evn never give us water to drink. The food tasted really bad.we wanted to order something but as soon as you get your food they will give you check.it’s really bad.we spend more than $60 but not get good food or good customer service. The business owner should really look forward to it.
The most disappointing Pho I have ever had in my life. The broth was lacking in taste to support the dish and their use of artificial crabmeat was a great disappointment. Sad to see a delight dish reduced to the use of cheap substitute foods. Shortcuts is their biggest failure of a satisfying comfort food on a cold day.
Broth was very salty, got a large bowl of Pho Tai had four small pieces of beef. The vegetables that go with every Pho I’ve ever visited were very sparse, basil was very wilted and unappetizing. Initial service was ok but they never stopped by to refill drinks with extra salty base. This is 4-5 time here nothing spectacular, won’t be back. If there was any competition this place would be gone but it’s the only Pho in the area.
Delicious! I love their meatball and rare steak pho. I would recommend this restaurant for Date nights? or any occasion where you're seeking a fulfilling yet tasty meal. The service is consistently above average. The server constantly checked on our table and delivered a mouthwatering meal. Pho 3 Pho for the win!!
By far the worst Vietnamese food I ever had…..ordered grilled pork and shrimp with spring roll on rice and grilled beef on rice. I don’t think they even serve authentic Vietnamese food. Spring roll is made with thick Chinese egg roll wrap. Rice is not edible. Meat is not grilled. Pork chop and beef were not grilled but pan fried. Shrimp was mushy. I will not recommend this place.
While my Pho was good, my mother's Bun Tom Nuong was nasty. The rice noodles were very over cooked and the meat didnt have any char to it. Server (Male)was unpleasant and sullen.
The server didn't speak good English so she could not explain the menu very well but all I wanted was some soup but she kept trying to get me to order other items I ask for a small bowl of soup and she kept saying medium. The bowl was pretty large and she brought me a plate with raw meat, cooked meat and what looked like some sorta sausage, when I ask her what kind of meat it was she did not answer just walked away . Half way thru the bowl of soup she brought me a small bowl with onions, cilantro and some other vegetables, she said I forgot this do you still want it and set it down on the table and walked away . The soup was good but the hassle of ordering it ruined the meal.
Still looking for a decent Pho place in Charlottesville. My B1 vermicelli was skimpy, didn't have shrimp, and had a store-bought egg roll. My wife's combination pho was rather tasteless. Then the perfect ending- their card machine didn't have connection. Was not a good first impression from Faux3Faux
