House made Chai tea. Very flavorful with a ginger kick at the end. Visited the downtown location which has great outdoor seating on the mall.
Paid over $7 for, basically, a cup of iced milk. The iced mocha had no mocha taste and ever the slightest hint of espresso.
One word....SMOOTH!From atmosphere, to ambience, service, price and overall product quality.SMOOTH!!!!I got a regular drip hot and my friend got the La Perlitas.I got a regular drip to see how serious they are about coffee. If a coffee shop can't get a regular drip right, then they shouldn't be in business. Madhouse Coffee did not disappoint one bit. When I am at Market Street this will a regular go to for me.
Stopped in for a cup of coffee before heading to the movies on a rainy day. Friendly and helpful staff who poured the perfect “pour over” style cup of coffee. It was delicious and made our rainy day better! We sat for a little while in the space which was quiet, clean and warm.
Absolutely fabulous coffee house in Charlottesville, VA! The staff are friendly and are up for a bit of good natured banter. The coffee was superb.
Terrible drip coffee. sadly it taste like heaven bland hot water l soDisappointed. We love strong coffee, and came here on our honeymoon !!
This is a very typical urban coffeehouse, i.e. it was dark, had exposed rafters, and was pricey. The selection of coffees and danish was good, and the staff was efficient enough (the guy taking orders was great; the people filling them were slow). The disappointment was in the temperature of the coffee. It should have been served hot.
Got vanilla latte and it was superb. Loved their coffee and the vibe.
This place was so cute! A little packed at the time we went so we had to scramble to grab a table, but the drinks were so good! Side note, they don’t have a “latte” listed on their menu. They have it down as “espresso + milk” which was a little different. But that’s what I ended up ordering and it was delicious!Our group got two lattes and two black coffees (one filtered coffee) and we all thought it was great overall. No complaints!
Always enjoy, but take down the mask sign if you aren’t going to enforce it when people don’t comply. Makes it toothless and silly.
