Giving 5 stars because all there sides were perfect. The meat was good but could be more tender....will return .staff friendly as can be.visiting from ky. Love my mountains and now I know where to dine.

It's OK. Maybe even that is being a tad generous. The selections do NOT include brisket. (A BBQ joint without brisket??) Everything -- even the cornbread it seems -- has green peppers in it, and that flavor seems to dominate the taste. Ribs were tender but less smokey than I'm used to. They also seemed expensive. Pulled pork had decent flavor but was dry. The smokiness seems added on rather than ingrained. The folks working there are very pleasant and capable. Good crew. Parking might be a a burden since the entrance only allows one car at a time to either enter or leave. If someone is trying to pull out onto busy Ivy Rd you won't be able to pull into the lot.
Was looking for a place to grab lunch between appointments at UVA medical center. Found this place that actually had it's own parking lot (drove through downtown area to get there). Food was excellent, staff was friendly. Great service as well!
I’m giving 5 stars because I’m from the south. Mississippi to be exact, and Moe's is the closest and best bbq I’ve had while here in Virginia. The baked beans are on point and the potato salad is by far the best I’ve had. The bbq pork sandwich was amazing and so much more than I expected. Moe’s you remind me of home.
Just ok for takeout. The beans and fried green tomato’s were good. The mac and cheese was dry and the pork and ribs were just ok. Wouldn’t try this place again
Absolutely delicious. It's a standard order off a board and recieve food from window style place. However the staff was very friendly and as stated above the food was incredible.
It's been a bit inconsistent over the past two years (understandably) ranging from ok to awesome. Never terrible. The ribs and wings tend to be our favorites after sampling the whole menu over the years. Always get the special sides!
The best in Virginia hands down that’s I’ve had so far so fast and quick food was hot must try brisket is amazing as well as their catfish I will be coming back
Awesome pork BBQ and the best smoked wings!!! All sides were delicious and the corn bread was phenomenal!! Highly recommended!
