Absolutely amazing vegan pizza. Maybe the best. Texture, flavor, even the temperature were masterful. They were also very kind about my sister's food allergies and my veganism. Will definitely go again.
This place was so awesome I don't remember what kind of pizza we ordered but we had the jerk wings and they were absolutely amazing as was the pizza I just can't remember which one we ordered. All of the staff was very friendly and patient. I think this would be a great place to take kids because it's super colorful and there's a lot of options that I think kids would like. I personally I'm not a huge fan of pizza but I really enjoyed this one because it tasted really fresh. I want to go again soon!
A fantastic pizza place. They do put a twist on the classic pizzas with their house pies, but that makes it all the more interesting. Their crust is surprisingly great, and their pie is the perfect thickness. Our server was very cheerful and had a great energy.
We always enjoy food from Mellow Mushroom. Pizza is great - crust is good and ample toppings and cheese. Pretzel Bites are always a great starter. Had a small spinach salad this time and it was large enough for a meal at only $6. Very good with cranberries, apples, pecans and tons of cheese. Service was fast and friendly
We needed something to hold us over until dinner, stopped and spilt a small cheese pizza, 4 slices of yumminess! The crust had parmesan sprinkled on it, the sauce was oh sooo good, and fresh mozzarella to top it off. We ate outside on the patio, also great for people watching.
I'm in Charlottesville for work and just happened to get on trip advisor and search nearby restaurants. I came across a name I'm very familiar with from the A so I decided to give them a call. Abby picked up and we talked like we already knew each other! She answered all my questions and checked what she was unsure of. My diet is no pork or red meat and she said no worries we can adjust, I was able to still get a specialty pizza! The call ended with me saying I'll see you in 15 minutes. Upon arrival we greeted each other and she made sure my order was good to go and let me know if I had any issues let them know asap. -Abby you're the real MVP! Keep it up, and I appreciate you ✌?
We were tired after several college tours, wanted to walk to dinner, wanted something known so we wouldn’t have a bad dinner, MM checked the boxes. 5 minutes from our hotel, clean, quiet because we went early. Excellent service from Owen a student at UVA, so helpful, friendly, offered insight to UVA too. Food was fine, exactly what we expected, to the table quick and it was hot.
2nd time to this restaurant and they are 2-for2. Their pizza is fantastic. Had the meat lovers (sic) the first time and the Veggie pizza today (Lent Friday). Both were dee-lish-us!! We had our small dog with us and we’re able to eat outside. The waiter even brought a bowl of water for our pooch. Highly recommend and we will be back.
I ordered four pizzas for dinner take out. I arrived at the specified take out time and was told that the pizzas will be ready in about five minutes. It took thirty-five (35) minutes for the pizzas to be ready. In the meantime many other take-out customers arrived and picked up their orders within a couple of minutes each. I had ordered take out because I did not want be in an enclosed space for too long in the middle of the pandemic, but ended up waiting there for more than half an hour. This is very poor service. The pizzas were tasty but I will not order from this place any more.
We stopped by for a late lunch after a college tour. The restaurant was empty which gave it a strange vibe, it just looks like the kind of place that should always be busy and it would have been fun to see it like that. Nevertheless, we had a great meal. Our pizzas came out quick and super hot, ingredients were fresh and good, so happy we had leftovers. Would certainly visit again if ever back in town.
