Love of server Courtney. My goodness did she hustle and get our food out,which was was perfect and hot and the beer was awesome.
I was there for a football Sunday. I waited at the door for 5 minutes waiting to see if I needed to be seated or if I could seat myself. After the same server walked past me 3 times, I was told to "sit anywhere that is open". All of the open tables looked to be in the middle of being cleaned (cups and dirty dishes on some while others still had food on the tables). I ordered wings and fries. The food came out in a reasonable time, however it tasted like old burnt oil. I'm not sure when they last changed the fry oil, but it was not pleasant. I managed to eat the wings, but couldn't eat the fries. My 4 year old daughter didn't eat anything as she didn't like the taste of old burnt over used oil. If this is how their kitchen is being run now, I will most definitely not be back, nor will I be recommending this place to any of my friends. I understand football days are busy and COVID has brought staffing challenges, but I would have rather waited an extra 15 minutes or so for them to change the oil in their fryers instead of sub par food that was almost inedible!
Never coming back again. Went yesterday to celebrate my sis birthday and somebody who works there was off the clock and drunk started an altercation and snatched my sisters drink from her hand. It was fun awhile it lasted but y’all business is unprofessional at its finest. Won’t get my money again
I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the bird cage. From the time I opened the door the service and staff were great! We ordered the wing platter with a side of fried zucchini. The wings were absolutely great! They were big, crisp and juicy. The fried zucchini was also good and everything washed down wonderfully with a couple of golden beverages. I would definitely come back! Poly want a cracker for sure..
Would've absolutely LOVED to try this place but most of the family are unfortunately homebound. We tried calling to place an order for pickup and were put on a 15 minute hold...after the first 5 minutes of the endless hold another person attempted to call in to place an order as well....no one picked up after trying for 10 minutes. WTH...
Went here a few months ago, was seated and all was going well until a staff member came in and brought a horrible body odor alongside him. He walked past us with food and drinks in hand, and looked very unhygienic and like a safety hazard. I believe it’s crucial that the Virginia Department of Health intervene and immediately do a health check. Will never come here again.
Terrible experience. I waited over an hour for my food finally I got an employees attention to let them know. All I got was my check and a sorry about that and she walked off. Never got my food ether. Unbelievable.John Taffer where you at!!! They need Bar Rescue
Great dive bar place. Solid food, nothing fancy but why go to a dive bar for fancy food? Large selection of beers and quick service.
Best wings in town and very great place to meet friends
The food made me sick a couple hours later. The appetizers are definitely frozen. Nothing is fresh. Would've been better off eating fast food.
