Kohr Brothers is the best ice cream in town hands down. I ate way too much at Outback and was like "if I eat another bite I'll die" and wasted half my potato, then 3 minutes later on the way home I passed Kohr brothers and was like "in getting that". It's so good.
A truly delectable taste sensation of devine sherbet and vanilla custard. Custard mind you not ice cream. Don't confuse lowly ice cream with this highly sought after king of custards. 5 stars. 5 amazing stars.
Good service close to closing time large crowd. Staff served until last customer was taken care of even if a little past closing hour. Service was good frozen custard was excellent. Just a note the competitor up the street in Holymead kicked us out at closing and wouldn't serve us.
We went for the first time as we were passing through Charlottesville. The ice cream was delicious. There is plenty of variety and the customer service is spectacular. It will be a regular stop for us any time we are in the area.
Saw a very long line and only two employees. Watched them use excellent customer service and teamwork to handle the line very quickly! Exceptional service.
We stopped for custard after dinner and even though it's April, it reminded us of beach ice cream in the summer. We'll go back the next time we're in town for sure!
The chocolate cinnamon shake was insanely good. They offer kid sized cones/cups which is the perfect size for adults who don't want to overindulge. A little much for a younger kid but we managed, lol. The custard is rich and creamy and the flavors are great. But when they break out the fall flavors (cinnamon and/or pumpkin) it makes the finest hot fudge sundae. Outdoor seating is available. Highly recommend.
Great custard but the google search says they’re open But they are closed for season till March 2022. Cannot wait.
Overpriced pina-colada milkshake tastes strongly of banana. I would assume they made a mistake if I wasn't the only person there. Now I know why I hardly ever see people in this store.
