Best meal I have had in ages. Had the Cobra Kai burger with cream cheese, jalapeño pickled slices and jalapeño jelly. It was to die for. Also had the sweet potato fries. So good. Asked for an IPA and let the waiter pick a Hazy. Remarkable. Friends of Dorthy? Didn’t leave my bra on the brassiere chandelier as it didn’t seem fancy enough. I’d eat here every day if I could.
The beer selection was just OK. Unless you only like IPAs. That was mostly all they had. No ambers, wheats, porters or stouts. We ordered our burgers and I ordered the special for the day. After about 10 minutes, they came back and said the special was out, so I ordered a different burger. It came fairly quickly and was very good. The problem was my wife's burger and the fries came 10 minutes after that. And the people next to us got their to go order (which was the same thing the wife ordered and was ordered after hers) before she got served! She had taken us there for my birthday and had wanted everything to be perfect.We didn't complain, but they comped us the food to apologize for the error and did so unsuggested. I had been there before and the food and service had always been excellent. Any place can make a goof, and I appreciated the willingness to make it good.However, they need to make sure there's a little more variety in the beer offering and have sufficient quantity of their specials ingredients so they don't sell out by 7pm.
This has been my go-to place after getting through with work Friday nights. The people here are all awesome. They always have a great selection of beverages here and once the folx here get to know you, they can pick out stuff they know you'll love. I'm gonna miss coming in once I move back to the 757 after I finish grad school because Kendall, Alyssa, and Alli are the coolest ? always a good time at JBs

Waited 40 minutes for our food and we barely got any fries and the burgers were poorly made. Love the one in KDH but not in Cville
All time favorite burger joint.Service: Every server I have had there was friendly and had a positive attitude and was genuinely happy to serve us.Food: I am not a huge burger guy but for some reason I love their burgers. Patties are really well cooked and the fries are always fresh. Combining them with the signature sauce makes it the perfect unhealthy meal. I don’t have a solid opinion about beer as I do not drink beer.Prices: They were reasonable for the amount of food we received.Overall Value: A well put restaurant and bar with nice flavors and atmosphere and reasonable prices. We would certainly go back.
