Wish I had better things to say. Run-of-the-mill Mexican food. Was not impressed with the service or meal. Quesadilla had wet grilled vegetables but left a puddle on my plate. Cheese inside looked more like curdled milk. Staff not that interested in checking on us but more so on standing around and chatting. $37 for two quesadillas and some water. I could do better at home for cheaper and more pleasant.
The place has a good atmosphere, the serving staff was nice, and the drinks were good. I can’t say much about the food because I just showed up to have a few drinks. The salsa was made in house and it was very good though. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I will be back to try the food.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Their chips and salsa are the best. The fried chimichanga is so good.
The restaurant was extremely clean and the waiters and waitresses were very attentive, they never let my drink get completely empty. The food was simply amazing I've never tasted better authentic Mexican food. Just all around great family restaurant
F The waiter was totally rude. He never came back to check on us to see if we wanted anything else. We sat outside and he actually acted like we were bothering him. The food was cold. The chips tasted like they were dipped in thick oil and were absolutely nasty. We were hoping to get some satisfaction when we went to pay air bill which the server never brought to us. The person taking our money never once asked how was everything like they used to do. They were just as rude as the waiter never said thank you come back. We have eaten here for many years and have always had a wonderful experience today but today was not one of them. We won’t be back anytime soon because I am not going anywhere to pay for such outlandish rude service.
Horrible!!! Restaurant was dirty, with crumbs on the booth seats and the table wasn't wiped off. Staff was very unprofessional with their customer service and appearance. As for the actual meal, the steak was over cooked and my niece found what appeared to be a piece of used napkin in her taco bowl. Overall it was a gross experience and the staff just didn't care.
After a long day of hiking, visiting Monticello, and hanging out in C’ville, we wanted to find a restaurant close to our hotel. The service was very quick and efficient. The prices were typical for a Mexican restaurant. The food was good, but the sauce on our enchiladas and rellanos was too much like tomato soup. The complimentary salsa was excellent.
Waited quite a while for a server when we first sat down to an early dinner. The place was mostly empty so not sure why it took so long. They messed up one of our orders, but were quick to fix it. The salsa was so spicy, I couldn’t eat it. Requested mild salsa, but it tasted horrible. Food was ok overall, but won’t be back because the salsa is just too spicy, and that’s half the reason I crave Mexican.
Dinner was delicious, as it typically is here. It did take 4 attempts to get one of the dinner orders correct - would have been a nice gesture to promo off that one meal or take a drink off the ticket and I'd roll that promo $ back into gratuity. Didn't happen, though. Otherwise good as usual for Guad.
I got the combination and chose one of my entrees to be the hard/soft taco. I should have asked what it was but this came out. The cheese looks like a slice of Kraft that they didn't even melt. I left two stars because usually they are really good. We are not from the area and only go once or twice a year but this was so disappointing. Great salsa though.
