My breakfast experience was so bad I can only hope I ever want good again. I ordered a vegetarian burrito as an omelette- an option clearly outlined on the menu board. It was unnecessarily served to me in a small takeout plastic clam shell.. nothing about it remotely resembled an omelette, much less one with the “roasted zucchini peppers and topped with guacamole” described.It was basically scrambled eggs. I returned it, waited another five minutes to have a squirt of frozen guacamole added.
I ORDERED FOR THE FIRST TIME A BACON , EGG AND CHEESE ON RYE AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. HASH BROWNS WERE OK. COULD HAVE BEEN COOKED A FEW MORE MINUTES. I ORDERED A CAPPUCCINO. SMALL. GOT A REGULAR CUP OF BLACK COFFEE THAT WAS NASTY. I WILL ORDERED A SANDWICH N HASH BROWNS AGAIN. BUT NEVER ANYTHING TO DRINK.
Just took the family to visit UVA and I was thrilled to see that Greenberry's was still in business after more than 25 years. Made sure to spend Sunday morning enjoying their coffees and pastries. Wonderful and friendly service and a great atmosphere. If you enjoy coffee shops then you need to stop by Greenberry's!!
It's not the best coffee around but it's still good. I like the cans

Great place for coffee, top 5 in C’ville I’d say.I’ve only been to the location in Barracks, so I can’t speak for all Greenberry’s, but their coffee is consistently smooth, flavorful, and bold. Their nitro coffee comes in delicious flavors like toffee, vanilla, caramel, etc., and their flavored lattes are not too overbearing with the syrup - the espresso always comes through, especially in their hot lattes. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. Expect to pay ~$4-5 for a latte, and ~$3 for a coffee.
Very runny cappucino. Milk frothing was amateurly done. Not barista standard. I ordered decaf cappucino.
