I went here for the first time yesterday. SOOO GOOD! I got the super naan taco and everything on it was so fresh. it had so much flavor! that spicy sauce I had on the side to put on my taco, OMG it had me clapping my hands! I need a bottle of that please! This will be my new lunch spot!

The grilled onions that come in many of their menu items are insanely good, I don’t know how they caramelize them to such rich and gooey perfection. Their fries are seasoned very nicely as well, they remind me of cajun fries. You can also buy from a selection of boutique health snacks and drinks that are really interesting. Their shop is small so they only have outdoor seating in the Code building courtyard, but it is a nice shady place to sit when the weather is amenable. You may also find indoor seating at the Milli Coffee shop just down the stairs (both handicap accessible). My only complaint really is that they aren’t open on weekends - we got lucky coming by on Memorial Day!
I first had Farmacy from the food truck and was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled by the cafe. I had their burrito for lunch yesterday and the leftovers today. Omg, I was in heaven. The flavors are soooo good together. So bold, and every ingredient seemed like the best possible choice. The organic aspect just throws it over the edge - definitely a place I could take anyone and eat at every day!
Finally got a chance to try this restaurant out. Every item we had was very flavorful and they're located in a great spot on the Downtown Mall. Give this place a try.
I really enjoy coming by here to get the vegan burrito. The quality is excellent and the hot sauce really brings the whole thing together. The owner is very friendly and overall it's a great experience to get lunch here.
The food is amazing! The staff are delightful! Such a joy to have Farmacy Cafe' as an addition to the Downtown mall!!

Few, if any, other restaurants in Charlottesville are doing what these fine folks at Farmacy are doing, to my knowledge. They are making deeply satisfying, nutritious, and creative food while using responsible and intentional ingredients (read: organic, local). This simply doesn’t happen in the food industry - more often it’s the case that dishes are designed to look healthy while using the least expensive ingredients possible.What we eat matters. Which ingredients are used and, importantly, where those ingredients come from deeply impacts not just our health but also the health of our local economy (well-compensated local farmers who aren’t forced to work around pesticides, for one) and environment (soil that isn’t depleted from monocrop farming, as an example). I am so grateful to have a place like Farmacy in this town. They are surely taking a profit-cut because of how they operate, and I sincerely hope that they are rewarded for it. Thank you for your work - we can’t wait to be back!P.S. the naan taco is simply out of this world.
I have known and loved Farmacy's food truck for years, and I'm so excited that they now have a brick and mortar shop on the downtown mall! I ordered catered food from Farmacy for a group event and everyone raved about it. We got chips with salsa, "super guac", and burritos; all of which were delicious and huge portion sizes. Plus, I love that everything is made with the highest quality ingredients, and they use compostable packaging! Everything they make is delicious and made with love - highly recommend!
