Great customer service as soon as I walked in. They had a huge selection of wines to choose from. The person who greeted me was very knowledgeable about what I was looking for and the price points. Good experience overall.
This place is incredible. The decor is beautiful, the wine selection is extensive and the staff is friendly and not snobby. They really make this place attractive for all people that want a posh environment without the stuffiness.
What makes this the best place on the downtown mall isn't just the great food and wine, but the quality of service and the people who work there! Vincent is awesome and always makes time to speak to us when we're there even if he's insanely busy, which is quite common. Tom, Wes, and Rachael really round out the crew with great personalities! Can't recommend this establishment highly enough!
Had a great time and a great class of prosecco at the Crush Pad. It was early, after lunch, so there were no other patrons. The employees were very kind, friendly, and attentive. The bathroom was fantastic - there was a black toilet!! The wallpaper was great. It was very Gatsby-esque! If I am ever back in Charlottesville, VA, I will stop back in for a glass!
Usually I love bringing people here and I enjoy the staff’s care and passion for what they do, but I have to agree with other reviewers that the $15 corkage fee is absurd. This was the first time I bought wine to have during my visit, usually I just do by the glass. There’s no signage or explanation of this corkage fee as the staff encourages you to buy a bottle from their collection. Corkage fees are meant for people bringing in outside wine, not for purchasing wine from the place to be opened there. I’m really disappointed by this hidden fee. I’ll probably never buy a bottle from them again because of this. It sucks because I really love the atmosphere and people who work at Crush Pad, but either be straight up about corkage or do away with the bogus fee.

Crushpad is the neighborhood bar the mall needed. The staff makes you feel at home and are super attentive and helpful. If you’re not sure what to drink just ask for a recommendation or sample (Wes, Tom, Rachael, and Vincent know their wine!). The retail selection is not only excellently curated, but incredibly priced. Their prices on retail are unbeatable in town. Go grab a case and get 20% off!! The food/snacks are also exceptional.
They Live up to their slogan, Wine with Fun. Very friendly with the authenticity of it's inventory. As well as fine sipping Liquors. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable.
