Extremely cramped lot. The drive-thru has 2 lanes, each lane has its own entrance (one lane you drive past the building to enter and the other lane you enter immediately turning into their lot). Difficult if you want to park and enter the building. Easier to park in the spots beside the lot, not the spots beside the building. The staff was extremely friendly, service was extremely fast, and food was hot and tasty!
First disappointing chick-ful-a visit for me. I pulled into the drive through at 9:40pm. There were 2 cars in the right lane and none in the left lane. (Mind you it wasn't blocked off). After sitting at the menu for 30 seconds an employee comes out and puts cones blocking the left drive through and lets me know the lane is closed but they'll take my order after the car to my right has ordered. After the car to my right pulls through another car pulls up and gets their order taken. I'm in no rush so waiting a few extra minutes doesn't matter. Well 4 more cars pull up and get their orders taken, and I'm still sitting waiting patiently. Finally a sixth car pulls into the right lane and gets their order started. This was at 9:50pm. At 9:51 a tornado warning gets issued. Not even 30 seconds after the warning being issues someone finally gets on the speaker and tells me they cannot take my order due to a tornado warning being issued. (Mind you the car to my right is still ordering). I was neglected for 10 minutes and got nothing. Seems like a lack of communication between employees, or I was forgotten about. Either way awful experience.
In Charlottesville VA there are 3 chic fila restaurants...two are owned by one gentleman and one owed by someone else. The two that are owned together are ALWAYS more convenient than this one. So someone is running 2 restaurants better than the owner of this one runs 1. It's just crazy how the other places open earlier, and NEVER TURN OFF MOBILE ORDERING. People who have large vehicles just get screwed when y'all do that...and not everyone has time for a 17 car backup in the drive thru. I thought that's why the mobile ordering was so important, to serve those who could not FIT in the drive thru and when in a hurry. This is not fast food here ....but the other two in town on Barracks and Pantops are great
The grilled chicken sandwich had a weird beer flavored taste and the waffle fries were hard. Not like Chick-fil-A used to be.. The chicken nuggets were good. The ordering system was confusing due to employees outside taking your order with no menus available to see when you are in line. There are two lines so a menu should be available in different areas instead of having to wait to place your order until you see the menu board and hold up the line more..
I dash here. They are fast, clean and pleasant! I bring my family with me as one of our family hobbies so the bathrooms are clean. I dont like public restrooms but this place is always welcoming (clean)! Foods good too.
Still delicious. Still politically messed up. I am among those that don't give the company business so as to not support the lobbying/abuses that money ultimately funds, but once every 18 months or so they get me.*Sigh* Sorry everyone. I'll do better.
The worst Chick-fil-A location I've been to. Long wait times (30+ minutes to go through the drive through) and I've had issues with my order being incorrect. The food was good, but not worth the time and effort.
Bottom bun on grilled chicken sandwich was hard and crunchy. The spicy filet chicken was more bun than chicken. We went through the drive thru about 830pm, maybe it was closing time. Staff was very friendly
Alison gave out my order today and she was extremely sweet! She didn’t rush me and she even interacted with my child today. My daughter and I had just moved here from Alaska a couple of weeks ago and it’s been rough trying to adjust to Charlottesville. She was so kind to us and even recommended parks that are nearby that she thinks we will love. Well we ended up going to Penn Park today and we had a blast :) thank you Alison! Keep being awesome!
Loved the food. I think it is crazy to have staff outside even with heaters!! The staff is great!! The new drive thru lane is horrible. Cars can file in properly and therefore do not get served according to their arrival.
