Visited 3 years ago and didn't remember if I left a review. When I was there: Fresh hot food, inexpensive cold drinks, friendly staff and environment. If I am ever back in Charlottesville I will be back here.

It was OK but when you order heavy may and you have to get up to get more Mayo and they give you a to go packet then it's really not good service. Mainly this place is just a bar.
The food is always fresh and served hot or cold if you order cold sandwich like the delicious club. Love the beans, coleslaw, mountain of fries, macaroni salad etc. Customers always treated well. This place is always packed every time we come and since there's only one bartender/server you may have to wait on food, but this woman can run circles around most! You just can't beat the prices either. Secret jem. Thanks again!
I love this place. I have been coming here for decades. The food is great and the staff friendly. The Big burger is delicious. All the food is delicious.
