Fantastic eatery. You will not find tastier roast chicken in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Or, for that matter, in the mid-Atlantic. Prices are reasonable. Traditional as well as creative sides, in generous sharing sizes. You can choose all white or all dark. A multitude of sauces. Kids love the plantains and the roasted vegetables--win win. And for adults, the frozen margaritas are yum and travel well To go orders always ready when promised, even during busy times. Do yourself a favor -- support local and become a regular. You can feed a family of four for the price of 2 chip***e bowls.
We had dinner here after seeing good reviews on Trip Advisor. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it did not disappoint. It’s very casual. You order at the counter, then find a table. The service was very fast and friendly, and our food was delicious. The chicken was outstanding, and the street corn was the best I’ve had anywhere, with a very unique recipe.
I asked a group of friends where to find the best rotisserie chicken around and they agreed --the place was Al Carbon. They were right. You don't even have to open the door to smell that savory aroma. There business is largely take out, but there are a few tables for dining in. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and that was probably the best baked sweet potato I've eaten. The Cactus side was clearly special too.
Ordered Chicken taco and roast chicken (half) and some fried plantains. All of them are so good! I’m not a big fan of chicken dish but these chicken, even for me, is so good! Not dry at all, full of flavor and meat juice.
Delicioso!!!! Everything was great...service, food, and ambiance. Drove over an hour to meet up with some friends and would totally do it again!
Outstanding food and kind, courteous service. Half chicken was succulent and superbly seasoned. Affordable prices make this a place I will make a point of visiting any chance I'm in the area.

The place has authentic Mexican options, I like their green sauce. I would recommend to call in for a pickup as there is a wait time (minimum ten mins) for your food to be ready. The staff are amiable and the place brings good tex mex decor... happy tacoing!!!
We’ve recently moved from Latin America and to carbon is *authentic*. We love the yucca fries, sweet potatoes and elote corn. You have to get the cilantro/jalapeño sauce ?
