Ordered orange chicken, thought they gave me wrong order, chicken without breaded and heavy sauce. Honestly, it won’t survive if it’s not in airport
Wow indeed! When I had a layover at Dulles Airport, I was expecting to grab a typical fast food lunch, a directory of airport eating options listed Wow Bao, and I knew I had to check it out. From the very first time I had Bao, I was hooked. The dough mmmm, and that filling - yum! I chose a combo of rice bowl + 2 Bao, but next time I think I'd go with the 4 Bao option instead. The rice was great, and the bowl was very filling, but the bao were my favorite. It was kinda cool how the steam paper acted as a label to tell which bao had which filling. Overall glad I went with Wow Bao! The seating area also had outlets which is always a plus.
The worst orange chicken ever. The buns were soggy.
Buns were about room temperature and soggy. I ordered a four stack and mix and matched with half teriyaki and half pork. Flavor was very mild.
Service was good but never seen doughless orange chicken. Seasonings we’re way too sweet and the rice was way undercooked
Orange chicken over rice was just rice and sauce, very little chicken. Stick to the Chick-fil-a next door
They out of half the things on the menu and the card reader didnt register my card at first but the buns were solidly ok! For an airport, 5 stars.
It was a nice change from the norm but it wasn’t all that good. Had beef and chicken bao buns, got boring real quick. And it’s crazy expensive, understanding it’s at the airport. I’ll pass next time.
had the kung pao bowl. It was fresh because I saw him pour it out of the bag, I really only ate the rice. The dumplings were good though.
