Great location for lunch with a group of friends or family! The price is not too bad for all you can eat ($32/person, minimum 2 people). Really nice ambiance and decorations. Tons of meat options including squid, octopus, shrimp, beef, pork and chicken. The only odd thing was that they gave us 8oz Kirkland plastic water bottles when we asked for water. They have red cups available for fountain sodas so I'm not sure why they insisted on giving us such a tiny bottle of water. We had to ask 3x for extra water.
The Qui has an extensive list of marinades that are unique in the cut of meat and the flavor when compared to competing KBBQ restaurants. It offers an interesting modern-industrial type environment paired with superb meat quality, reflecting the asking price of $33 for the all you can eat option. The service has always been very knowledgeable and attentive to water service, meat delivery, and cooking. There was not one marinade that I didn't enjoy, all are very well-seasoned.The only downside I see is having to request water bottles when you run out, so I suggest you bring your own bottle, as well as the extensive wait times during peak hours.
I usually don’t do reviews on here or anywhere to be honest, but this place deserves one. Not only because of the food but because of our server. We came in Sunday night and it was quite popular, but not an hour wait popular. We sat down after 20 minutes of a wait; the place was beautiful. It wasn’t dim nor bright. It was an aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The food was honestly pretty good in comparison to Iron Age or Sõ for the price you pay. Everything came out hot and fresh besides the bite-sized fried chicken. Also, the food came in good portions where you can try everything and not be full after a couple plates of meat.Aside from the food, we had a server named Yejin (I think that is the correct spelling). She made sure that our dinner was more of an experience rather than just a meal. Her hospitable, friendly, and very attentive service was the cherry on top to the dinner we had. She refilled everything we liked without even asking, she gave us recommendations on what was popular, and made sure we had a great time. What I really liked about her service that many other restaurants don’t do is that when we enjoyed the bite sized fried chicken so much, she went out of her way to grab us some freshly fried chicken to enjoy, hence the cold fried chicken that was previously served. It was just the way she took care of us like family rather than customers. Therefore, this is one of the many reasons why I would come back.
The Qui experience was phenomenal. I love the atmosphere and the food was outstanding. The bulgolgi, top blade, and pork belly really stood out and were very flavorful. I will definitely be returning with friends and family.
Impressive decor. We did the all you can eat then also did the premium beef. Our server was friendly and provided us Korean style banchan which was very good. Had a great dinner with friends. Good food. Nice decor. Great service.
It was my first time trying Korean BBQ and they definitely set the bar pretty high. Besides the obviously delicious meat, the salad and pickled pear worked perfectly as sides. It’s a chill place for a nice family or couple’s dinner. Just be sure to go with an empty stomach so you can eat it all!
The food was pretty good. Our server was super nice. However, management was lacking!Came to enjoy dinner with a friend. 1st time here. We literally got to enjoy an order of beef bulgogi and some squid. We were seated at the outside end of a 10 top(3 grills on this table). We had a plastic partition separating us from the resto of the table. Well...they proceeded to seat a large party next to us(8-15 people)I really wish I was making this up. I had to stand up from my chair 6+ times to let the people in to their seats. Then 1 of the ladies sits next to my friend an her entire chair was past the partition (I really wish I had taken a pic but I was livid by then). I wanted to be able to chill and savor my meal but that was impossible. Either the new people in the party were screaming and yelling or I was having to get up and let them by.We ended up paying our check and leaving.I happen to bring this up to the manager(Sebastian I believe) and he was like I'm so sorry they ended up adding more people to their party than they told me at the beginning. As a manager you take control of the situation. Tell them no. You have to wait. But, that didn't happen... CLEARLY!Never once was I offered anything nor was I apologized to etc.I can't say that I will be returning.
Best Korean BBQ in Fairfax area. Spacious and clean. Top flank, beef bulgogi and squid are our favorites. Lunch during weekdays are the best if you are concerned about crowds or social distancing. Being here many times, I would say that Friday dinner and weekends are the busiest days. So expect that servers can’t attend to your needs in a timely manner during these days.
Hosted my daughters sweet 16th birthday party here! EVERYONE raved about how amazing the food, service and ambiance was! The staff here made sure everyone had fun and made great recommendations as they all grilled all you can eat bbq! It’s a perfect place to have a party and a great deal! Even the music was perfectly curated for the party! HIGHLY recommend for family and friend get togethers but to enjoy an amazing meal too!
