Cute and chic place. I loved the concept. We had their cute little sandwiches perfect for breakfast or brunch and tiramisu latte is a must have. We also tried Mango Bingsoo, it’s very different than milkshake or shaved ice drink and I loved it. It’s mango heaven. The service was quick and place was clean.Staff was super friendly. Loved the vibe. This place is inside Tilly’s kitchen I would love to try their sushi too.
SO delicious. We tried the Avocado, BELT, Bulgogi and Shroom - all were great, no complaints. Coffee was yummy too. Great use of space inside Tillys Kitchen. Definitely worth trying.
We stopped by for a quick bite to eat and had a great experience. The staff was kind and accomodating and the building had a lot of searing inside and out on the patio. We ordered the chicken (it's a little spicy) and the BELT sandwich, and the bread was soft and well toasted, and both sandwiches did not skimp out on the meat. Looking forward to the next time we're in the area to try some of their other selections!
I've heard so much about this place that when my friend wanted to meet for breakfast, I jumped on my chance. I was not disappointed. Semicolon is an unassuming little stand in Tilly Kitchen. The staff is friendly and prompt. That have a small but interesting selection of beverages, some pastries and desserts on display, and a variety of breakfast sandwiches available. I ordered a tiramisu latte, bulgogi sandwich, and three macarons, which came out to $30. It's certainly on the pricier side but the quality of the product is good. My latte was indulgent and cute, a bit on the sweet side. The macarons are buttercream based and were excellent - I got creme brulee, yogurt, and strawberry milk and enjoyed all three. They don't keep well - I saved them for later and the buttercream had softened quite a bit, but you can throw them in the fridge for an hour and they'll be good again. The sandwich was very pretty and delicious, with egg, bulgogi, tomato, lettuce, and sauce on fresh buttery toasted bread. I personally found it to be very filling, but those with a larger appetite might not. At $10, I think it's overpriced for a breakfast sandwich (their basic sandwiches are $9), but let's be honest, I'd totally get it again even if I grumble a little about it.
The banana pudding is wonderful! Also the walnut honey smoothie was a nice smooth nutty flavored refresher. Recommend if you enjoy those type of flavors. The sandwiches are pretty small for the price although the flavors (had the ham, chicken, bulgolgi) aren't disappointing, the value could be better for the high price.
Dropped by for some lunch before heading to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center / National Air and Space Museum. It's a great place to stop for some delicious food as it is less than 10 minutes to the museum. Semicolon cafe is located inside Tilly Kitchen. It has some delicious sandwiches and drinks. We ended up ordering from Tilly Kitchen as well. We had chicken Pho, Salmon, Chicken Bao bun, and Bulgogi sandwich. Everything was good except for the chicken Bao bun. There was hardly any meat. One order comes with two buns at about $6.
This place was soo good! The food was delicious and the vibe was so chill. I got the bulgogi sandwich! I can’t wait to try the different foods on the menu. The price was also great!
These egg sandwiches are not only picture-perfect but very flavorful (pleasantly surprised). Instantly fell in love with their iconic design/presentation and delicious taste. We ordered avocado sandwiches and chicken sandwiches with different sauces. Their paprika sauce complement avocado and eggs very well, and their kiwi sauce is very unique and yummy. I normally do not like sandwiches, but fluffy scrambled eggs with green leaf lettuce and other ingredients all wrapped together in a toasted brioche bread was SUPERB.The sandwiches are served in a paper box (eco friendly - love it!) with a minimalistic design that makes the sandwiches more scrumptious.Semicolon didn't get five stars because of its service. :(
I heard about these egg sandwiches and headed over asap, they lived up to the hype and tasted as good (or better) than they looked! Pictured are the BELT and Bulgogi. We also ordered a matcha latte and cold brew which were less of a standout but still perfectly delicious. Will be going back!
I'm surprise by the taste and look. Sandwich represent what premium taste like. I tried mushroom and Bulgogi. I am going to try another next time. One of best cafe around area.
