Friendly greetings. Didn't wait more than five minutes before Chef started. Chicken and steak were good. Chef was friendly and personable. Drinks (non-alcoholic) were always full. Definitely going back, when I can afford it. Ouch.
Sushi was so bad obviously not owned by Japanese. The low sodium soy sauce was stale. The tuna was so dark
Hi, we are vegetarian and went to Virginia for holidays. We have kids (3-5 year), So we decided to try Otani restaurant which provides Hibachi style of cooking so kids can have some fun. At that time, we they were not allowing walk-ins. so we reserve our place online. nice experience. When we reach to restaurant, they already set up place for us. But it was near to Door and during winter time we do not want to sit near door (due to cold), so we ask them to change table.. they did immediately. Then cook came and started making vegetable delight with Fried rice. it was fun for kids.. Even Food was amazing and tasty. At the end, manager gave balloon to all kids. we are 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids). They charged for only 4 adults and gave ice cream to all 7 without charging anything extra. Staff was very nice, service was good. overall nice experience and will try again.
I absolutely LOVE this place! It's my favorite place to splurge on a nice dinner for special days. The food was cooked to perfection and not dry at all with some great seasoning. The Chefs are incredibly charismatic and funny as well as skilled. My favorite part is when they ask to have you catch a small piece of shrimp that they throw at you. That's always good fun for the group. Last but not least you get a complementary scoop of vanilla ice cream to finish off your meal. The portions are so big you're definitely gonna be taking it home!

Exactly what you would expect from a Japanese grill. Fun, delicious, and a bit expensive. If you get anything, make sure to try the Tokyo shrimp. The taste was on par with the fillet mignon.
The food is very good. We come here once every few months and it does not disappoint. The only thing I would improve is the “experience”. Many hibachi restaurants that I’ve frequented in the past have a fun entertainment factor. Excellent chefs that are extremely fun and interactive. They keep you laughing the whole time and very excited to come back. I miss the “show” put on at other hibachi restaurants that I can’t seem to find in NoVA. I loved watching the chefs throw eggs into each other’s hats, fling shrimp at each other, interact with the guests, and all of those fun antics. This restaurant is simply for cooking, not entertainment.
Great family friendly place! My toddler loves coming here. Great interactive chefs and attentive staff. Our go to place in Chantilly!
