Loved dining with them tonight!! Best Mac & cheese I’ve had and the chicken so delicious! Slides right off the bone! Highly recommend ??
Truck was in Sterling so stopped by for lunch and diner. had the wings with Mumbo Sauce which was delicious and had the Bourbon chicken for dinner that nigh. The portions was large enough for leftovers which tasted even better after letting the chicken marinate a little more in the bourbon sauce.delicious.
Lady K’s catering is the best home cooked food that I love to receive on my doorstep at the end of the day, or on a weekend with family gathered, or to take on a picnic and share with friends.
OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I simply can not even DESCRIBE how not only INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS Lady K’s food is- but she is ALSO so incredibly sweet and kind!!!! I got her Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Garlic Fries!!!!!! NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER HAD SUCH AN AMAZING CHICKEN SANDWICH!!!!!! The chicken pulled apart flawlessly with each bite (like I have never seen before!!) and you can SEE and TASTE the difference in quality of the chicken! (And the spicy-ness wasn’t the usual “is this straight vinegar” flavor- it was just UH-MAZING!!) Not to mention- it was so crispy!! Omg don’t get me stared on the GARLIC FRIES!!! I feel like Lady K knows how to speak to my soul- LOOK AT ALL THAT GARLIC!!! ? MY DREAM COME TRUE!!! I’m on cloud 9!!! Not to mention, I have a sensitive stomach and typically struggle eating foods that sometimes are fried- and I didn’t have any problem inhaling my food!!! (Which is rare) PLUS!! I didn’t get that heavy, food coma type feeling I normally get after I eat! I can’t recommend Lady K’s Cafe/Catering ENOUGH!! I’m so excited I got the opportunity to try out Lady K’s food- I can’t wait to try more!!! ♥️
The size of their wings/drums were impressive although the seasoning on the hot wings and original were simply not it. Maybe I lost my taste due to covid or maybe there wasn't enough love in my order.
They had a food truck in Sterling in the back of a university. Tried to get the chicken sandwich but was out, so I chose the Bourbon Chicken with a side of Mac n’ Cheese. It was delicious!! The peach and bourbon glaze on the grilled chicken breast paired so well with each other, and the Mac n’ cheese wasn’t too oily on the bottom like a lot of other soul food restaurants tend to have. Both foods didn’t make me feel heavy after I ate. So glad I came to eat their dishes!
I had the combo meal: 6 Original wings (w/ mambo sauce) + 2 sides (mac-n-cheese and collard greens) and Meyer Lemon Pound cake for lunch. WORTH every penny. I had ordered it for pickup from my office building. Food was package well in a sturdy to-go bag and portions were fulfilling. Plus I appreciated that she knew I was next in line, while I was waiting next to a group of people.
Went there last October. Me and my husband loved her food. Definitely recommend.
Lady K is absolutely the best.She catered a holiday party for our residents and absolutely brought her "A" game.Leading up to the event, we worked together closely to come up with a menu that would remain within our budget, and helped plan the logistics of how we would feed this hungry crowd safely being mindful of Covid and other health precautions.We were concerned about running out of food because we didn't have a solid head count, but Lady K worked her magic and had the exact right amount of food so that no one was left hungry during the party.Best of all, her food is amazing. attendees were coming up and raving about how her food was top-notch, and they have culinary experience! People of all ages were coming back for second and third plates of food.Working with Lady K was an absolutely pleasure and I look forward to working with her again in the future.
The food on Lady K's truck is delicious!!! I am gluten free, so finding a food truck that offers food that's safe for me to eat is usually pretty difficult. Lady K's Bourbon chicken is my go-to dinner pick- it's perfectly seasoned and sauced and leaves you full but not fatigued. I highly recommend this food truck for any event, or take out lunch/dinner option!
