Solid 1/5.Went here on a Saturday evening with a couple of friends, as we were all craving some Hotpot. After being greeted by the staff, we were seated down and waited for our service staff. Everything was good until we noticed that most of our bowls/plates and utensils were dirty. They had stains and left over food crumbs that weren't thoroughly cleaned. It was noticeable enough to where you'd think someone would have seen it when placing the utensils and bowls on the table. After setting them aside, it took a little long for the staff to come back so we can let them know the dishes were dirty. So a friend had to just go to the bar and grab us fresh new ones. Now, onto the food review:The Food: The hotpot was good. They had a good amount of selections to choose from and the broth was delicious. I went with the Tom Yum broth and it had a good amount of flavor. The different meat and veggie selections were great too, however the portion sizes were very small. Especially for a party of six. Even after requesting multiple times for two orders of meats since we were a large group, the waiter failed to do so. So as you can guess, a lot of us had to wait for multiple meat/veggie orders to come through. Also, well into our meal we had to ask for water, since our server failed to bring that out in the first place. The Service: Service was plain out terrible. Not only did the experience here already diminish from the statements above, but our waiter was incredibly slow and lacked the attention of serving our table. We didn't ask for much and were a very simple table. We put in our orders that were big enough and accommodated our table, we didn't get that. We asked for clean plates and utensils, we didn't get that. The lack of attention/service our table received made it a terrible dining experience with our friends. It was hard for us to understand why this was happening, when comparing to the service other tables were getting.Overall, a solid 1/5. I won't be coming back to this place.
Came here on a Thursday evening, wasn't too crowded fortunately. Gotta say this is probably one of the better hot pots around.Food was great, love the lamb & ribeye. Service was awesome, our server Sap was attentive and friendly, getting us everything we needed. Will be back!
My favorite hot pot restaurant. They have individual pots or you can do a family pot with 2 sections. Their choices of meats are a wide variety and they have a very good selection of vegetables and side dishes. If you’re in the mood for some delicious Asian hot pot on a hot or cold day, I highly recommend this place! B
We went on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn’t the usual crowd which means we didn’t have a 45 mins wait.Staff are friendly and checked in on us intermittently.Definitely one of the best hot pots in the DMV.
Great variety of meat, seafood, vegetables, and noodles. Highly recommend individual pot to tailor the broth to your taste. I was surprised how good the ramen goes with spicy hot broth. Be adventurous and try the beef tongue; you will be rewarded.
The worst thing about Hot Spot in Chantilly was that the noise level included blaring music that was so loud that we could hardly communicate with the servers or enjoy dinner. The food was generally okay for Asian hot pot. Although it's all you can eat, it was so crowded that they rushed us out to clear the table (well before the allowed 2 hour maximum). Lots of items at the sauce bar except that some were depleted and others mislabeled. The men's restroom also needed cleaning. Hot Spot is suitable if you are very hungry, can eat fast and can tolerate high noise level,
Hot pot that offers all you can eat that you cook at your table. Environment was fairly clean and our server was friendly. The tables are a bit small however which made it hard to organize and keep clean, especially the tables meant for two people. Would come back.
Pretty decent hot pot. They have raw eggs and lamb on the menu, which are items I haven't seen at other hot pot places. I'd recommend trying to Tom Yum soup base. One minor gripe is that they only give you one bowl for sauces. Most places I'm familiar with will give you many different sauce bowls so that you can get all the sauces you want.
Yum yum yumHot Spot is chill. Good vibes, the food is fun to share among friends, there is good drinks, and it's an all around great time. This also is one of the few places to have Ace Pineapple Cider!
Great service! And left with a happy belly ❤️
