They make authentic Momo. Tastes very good, flavorful and fresh. We tried original steamed and spicy fried. Original was our favorite. The food runs out of a gas station and it is majorly a pick up place. They do have a few sit down tables. I recommend this place for authenticity of Nepalese cuisine.
Fantastic. Ate half of a chili chicken Momo order in the car. Kind of taste like amped up maggie seasoning, which is delicious. I ordered medium, perfect level of spice. Initially, I thought too salty, however when dipped in the orange colored sauce it came out perfect. Excited to go back again!I also ordered plain chicken momos, they would be better for someone who does not like spice or would like to control the amount of spice they add.
This place is tucked away in Chantilly's liberty gas station. The have just a few menu offerings such as regular momos, noodles and chilli momos, all of which are reasonably priced. You can take out or eat at a few of the indoor tables. The location is a no frills gas station/quick mart facility but the food was good. I find it easier to call ahead as the prep time can be up to 20 mins.
Was craving momos and this was the closest place to me, while it didn’t satisfy my craving, it was unique and like no other momo I’d had before. I would also add that now I crave this too, along with momos! I really enjoyed the chili sauce, balancing on just the right amount of heat.
Went in for fried chicken. Ordered an eight price, no wings. The lady had me wait 20 minutes to cook chicken and then proceed to tell me, I have to pay separately for extra legs. $1.00 each to substitute for wings. This all after I explained when ordering I didn’t want wings. Then I asked for a large fry, the lady made the fries and then the older lady yelled at her to take some of the fries she put in the bag out! I just said forget the whole order. What a mess!
Had chicken and chicken chili momo (dumplings). Each momo come with 2 sauce; spicy and mild (I don’t know their names). BTW this was my first time here. Chicken chili momo seems to be chicken with chili source. Between two, I enjoyed the chicken chili momo more than chicken and it wasn’t spicy as the name suggests. Accompanying spice sauce was good with hints of chipotle (?).Definitely order ahead as momo are made for order and chicken chili momo takes 20-25 mins vs 15 mins for chicken momo.
We've come all the way out to Chantilly from Alexandria twice to eat here. The Chicken Chilly momo is possibly my favorite dish at any restaurant in northern Virginia and the sides are all great too.Really hope this place continues to grow and get their own storefront, hopefully one closer to Alexandria
I too learned about Everest Momo Plus via the Washington Post article. My wife and I visited Nepal over 10 years ago and loved the food so I was excited to try it again after so long and was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken and chicken Chilly Momos and it was some of the best food I've had in a while. I can't wait to visit in person to try them fresh and meet the owners.
Great food! The chicken chili momo was delicious! It was my first time there and the owner was very nice! I was asked how spicy I wanted it and I said hot and they do it right! Will be back soon!
Yummm, owners were so so so kind too!!!
