An absolutely delectable experience. It was my first time trying Uyghur food and I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed. The food was prepared quickly and not a single dish failed to disappoint. We ordered the Uyghur butter naan to start, the korma chop and mom's laghman entrees, and the chocolate and pistachio baklava for dessert along with Uyghur tea. It's not an exaggeration to say that every dish blew out tastebuds out of the water. The noodle entrees were absolutely delightful - thick, long, and chewy in all the right ways, with a touch of spice. We found out later from the server that they're hand pulled every day which is amazing. The service is fantastic and timely and the atmosphere is warm and inviting which only added to the culinary experience. 100% recommend folks try this place out if they're in the neighborhood to try something new. You will not be disappointed.
Great food and service!
Great food, great service! Very unique flavors and the folks that were serving us were incredibly friendly. The vibe is casual and homey.
We came after a lunch rush since we were curious about Uyghur food and it was AMAZING!! We got a little bit of everything and it was perfect. Everything was well flavored. I can see why some people complain that the food is salty. The salt level is perfect and we got sides of rice to go with the Lamb chops and dipped the bread in the lentil soup. The chicken stew is a winner and that giant bowl of stew is a small serving. ? The meat pie is divine! We also got lamb kebobs but inhaled it too quickly to take a picture. The other pics are after we started eating. Love it so much and only 10min from Dulles so we will stop by again when we are by the airport again. And get the large stew to take some home. ♥️ The tea was so good and plenty to share in a pot between 4 people. We were too stuffed to get the baklava but for sure next time!
10/10 Amazing restaurant, and amazing service!! All the dishes tasted great, the tea was lovely, and the staff are super kind, some of the nicest staff I've met anywhere. The restaurant is clean, tidy, and has a pleasant vibe. I highly recommend you to try out the food at this restaurant, Uyghur cuisine is very unique. Loved the midye baklava!
The food was absolutely delicious with unique flavors, from the main dish, to the fragrant floral tea, to the chocolate baklava. The only thing I would change would be the spacing of the tables and booths. I could barely reach the table with my fingers from my booth seat and had to scoot up in order to reach my dish to eat. Service was friendly and helpful.
Delicious new cuisine
Met up with some friends to try this place for the first time and it was fantastic. The service was very good and the food was delicious. We tried the Dolan tea and it was the perfect accompaniment to our meal. We had the meat dumplings, pumpkin goshnan, korma chop, kataifi, and dolan cake. Everything was great but we especially loved the korma chop - not salty but so so flavorful.
Delicious new cuisine
We enjoyed the service and the food. This is our first time trying out this cuisine. Pleasantly surprised by the flavors and the freshness of the ingredients here. We will definitely come back.
