I love the the food here, always consistent and always delicious. Definitely can't complain about the value... especially in these days and time of cutbacks rising costs you can still come here and get good bang for your buck on top of good food.
Seafood combination platter with hush puppies and okra was delicious, but could of had a little more added to it. Will go again!
We went here purely for the variety of seafood -- I hadn't had catfish for too long of a time. And then i was pleasantly surprised to see the list of sides which included many of my southern favorites (I couldn't ignore the fried okra). They have standard subs too along with the seafood subs and platters.My only complaint would be the frying batter is too heavy and could overpower the taste of the fish. But I still think I would return because it's a nearby non-chain place to appease my love of seafood.
Small little Deli with quite an extensive menu. My husband and brother have tried probably everything on the menu at this point. My daughter and I just do repeats, but we'venever been dissatisfied. The owner is cool too. That's a big reason we continue to support this business- in addition to the food being. good
I've eaten here before and the food is always good. And the service is very good as well. Eat in or take out I've been more than satisfied.
Service was excellent but food was not the best. Called and placed order. Asked about curbside pickup, she said come inside to pickup order, if vaccinated, no mask required, if not vaccinated, then please wear mask or face covering. I asked for tartar sauce, she gave me 2 packs of tartar sauce. Asked if I needed ketchup, more tartar sauce and forks. I asked for 2 more tartar sauce, she gave 2 more tartar sauce. She told me to get an apple juice out of the refrigerator for the kids meal.
The place is not anything to write home about, but the food is made to order and they do serve fried gizzards which you don't see often. I don't see often unless its back in Texas where I am from, so thats why I tend to notice it on a menu. The fries are cooked perfectly and the shrimp sand-which sub is good although they don't put a-lot of shrimp in it. If you order the jumbo wings, be careful cause they are piping hot and stay that way for a while. Overall, good place for take out seafood and I have eaten there several times since.
First time visiting and ordering. I heard about how good it was and wanted to give it a try. I ordered fried catfish platter with a side of mashed potatoes and collared greens.I will keep this short and to the point. I was pleased and satisfied with the portions and the taste of everything, even the tartar and shrimp sauce.I will be returning ?? ?
Steak and Cheese was horrible. Will not revisit.
