Edit: recently they sold me frozen cold food. It is no longer enjoyable to eat their "banh mi", so I changed from 5 stars to 2 stars.Authentic and delicious, don't be let down by the bland interior or the oblivious attitude of the owner. The food is better than several other places.

Decided to give this place a try since Falls Church/Eden was too far... first of all, the prices listed on the website are NOT the actual prices when I went two days ago. Of course I understand that the times are hard and prices for everything has gone up like CRAZY but still, I'm not complaining about their prices. I think it's bad business manners to keep all your ads/websites, etc not up-to-date.Next, the food. I ordered 3 different types of sandwiches, a Boba drink, and some fried egg rolls. They were just all bleh to mediocre. The bobas tasted old.. the bread itself was not so good either. It's like after you take a bite of the sandwich, the bread sort of falls apart in your mouth, I don't know, maybe there was too much bread compared to the meat. Overall I did not enjoy and will never go back there again. I'd rather travel extra 30-40 min and have a sandwich that doesn't leave me in regrets
This is a good place to get your banh mi fix. I've ordered from here several times and the sandwich is consistently good. Pricing is fair, veggies are fresh, and the meat is tasty. Once the bread was a little crunchy, not stale though, but that seems to be the outlier from my experience.
Good alternative when I don't want to drive 30-45 minutes to Banh Mi DC or Eden center. Great service, the lady at the counter is always friendly and chatty. They have a variety of stuffings, with their Kim Lan sandwich being the most expensive Price is about $6-$6.50+ for 1 banh mi, and there's no 'buy 5 get 1 free' offer like some other well known banh mi places. Best to eat them fresh or toast it the next day at latest. Their egg rolls, fresh rolls, and desserts are also good.

Cute and clean local banh mi shop! Combo banh mi + ca phe sua da (Vietnamese ice coffee). Both were delicious. The owner was nice. Definitely will come back again!

The reviews got me. Probably fake. Bottom line, stale bread. You can't have a good Banh Mi with stale bread. The egg rolls were good though. I won't be ordering from here again.
