I took party hall on July 16, took $25/plate plan….ordered for 45 people and guests are also as expected. Ordered veg and non veg as per menu.But I did not know I should let them know veg people are more, I don’t know why we need to say veg people are more as they did not mentioned before regarding this.let me tell you I got half small tray veg biryani and most of the items are completed with half of the people and got smell for chicken dum biryani which is so bad, this is my son first birthday and all the guests commented these things which is very bad, I asked for extra hour in morning for decorations which they charged $50 when they charged for everything why should I do not get the money back as they did not give what they said, after wards they gave veg fried rice and samosa chat which they started after I complained where most of the guests went off…please suggest if I can complain somewhere regarding this? People please do not go with this false menu pricing, instead you can book other party hall and food from any other places. Very very bad experience only good thing is two people in restaurant helped but it is not in control of them to handle completely. Food comes from chowpathi and there is no proper kitchen in athidi.
Food (we had South Indian veg) at the restaurant was amazing. All orders were fresh and tasty(touch to the spicy side, but that is how we preferred). I wish they had buffet option though. The service was excellent. It was surprising that it was pretty much empty being a weekend. But, all in all, we had a good experience. The patron in charge provided a good service. I recommend folks to check out this place if you like a good tasting south Indian cuisine.
Have had a fantastic experience here. Bismarck, the chef and manager, makes outstanding food. His friendliness and accommodations of customer’s needs makes for a family-like, wholesome experience!
Excellent service and marvelous food. My go-to place for South Indian. Will be even better when they remove the supply boxes from the windows and update the decor - but that will take this restaurant to the next level and possibly make it too popular.
This is some of the best Indian food I've had. The service was impressive. It'd be great if they could make it possible to watch them prepare the food for entertai nment.
AMAZING JUST AMAZING the people who work there were amazing he was so nice I forgot his name but he has been in the cooking business for 20 years and he just come to America and started cooking g Indian food which was just splendid! As a Indian I have not ate such amazing food since India! The head chef and everyone working there did a amazing job!Some context how we ended up there. We were coming out of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and were hungry and that's when we found this gem nearby so I would definitely recommend this place!!!Also give that man a raise he was so nice!
This restaurant recently reopened and our dinner was superb. The flavors were subtle, the spice providing a nice bite, but not overpowering. The chef/server, Bismark, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. This unassuming restaurant had some of the best Indian food I’ve had in the area.
Best Indian I’ve had in a long time. The food was a European take on Indian cuisine and the chef presented it masterfully. The head chef treated me like an old friend and we had never met, made the whole experience that much better. If you haven’t tried Athidhi you’ll be missing out until you do.
Excellent food in an unsuspecting location. The chef came out from the back to make recommendations and personally waited on my table. Btw, he recommended goat curry and it was excellent.I wish the new chef and this restaurant success!
Great party place. We had lots of good feedback on food -tasty and fresh. Ramesh was very cooperative and made sure the food got on time. This is a perfect place for any kind of party. Laxmi was very helpful gave us very good suggestions, gave us enough time for decorations. We really loved and enjoyed our event here. We definitely recommend this place.
