Had a great dinner tonight !!!!

Anita's has been around for decades and it's no wonder. Great New Mexico style Mexican food. They offer a very nice breakfast menu too! At this visit I ordered the scrabble egg w chitizo sausage wrapped in corn tortilla and typed with their signature red sauce. Also came with beans and home fries. I'd say that the eggs and chorizo coughs have used more seasonings. But otherwise is was a very satisfying breakfast. Their cowboy breakfast with eggs, meat, and hotcakes topped with baked apples is awesome, but is just too big for me anymore.I do recommended this restaurant.

Friendly waitstaff. Good service.

I ordered their smoothie in the morning on two separate occasions. Both times I ordered no whip cream. They proceeded both times to give me cups that were only 2/3 full. I asked her where the rest of my drink was. They said because I didn't order whip cream, they don't fill it to the top. I think this makes no sense since whip cream shouldn't fill a third of a drink. Waste of money if you don't want to give me the full drink.

Seems quality control has gone down over the years for non-breakfast items. Went for dinner and almost everything tasted funky in some way, and it wasn't just me who thought this. For example, my friend and I both shared some guac, and we both spit out the first bite - you could tell they used something that had long since expired, it was really gross. Beef Chimichanga tasted like cheesy leather. Chili con Queso was ok but not great. Even the salsa was a spicy watery letdown. Maybe they're just hyperfocused on breakfast burritos now?

I come here quite often normally only to get the regular breakfast burrito and occasionally chips and guacamole. The breakfast burritos to me are nothing crazy but they reheat well and with the sauce they give you hit the spot. For that reason I keep coming back as well as the staff is nice and the price is right.

$14 dollars for a beer and chips an queso. Way to expensive, will not be going here again. Oh and the best part? There are gnats flying around everywhere!

Ordered breakfast for myself and my crew. Received our order and as I’m eating one of the burritos I see the tip of a Glove. I speak with the owner Tommy after the incident and was promised a refund and haven’t been refunded. AVOID THIS PLACE . The employees obviously don’t care because how can you make food and loose a part of a glove and not check what you just made. I can only imagine what goes on in this kitchen for an employee to be so negligent to leave a glove in someone’s food. Especially during Covid.

The food was delicious. I am from New Mexico and this is about as close as I have gotten in this area. The red chile is great and the carne adovada is just like I make at home. The staff is friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to eat.

I order Anitas fairly regularly but today's order was awful. First I placed the order more than an hour in advance and it clearly wasn't even started when I got there and had to wait 25 min for it. I understand that stuff happens, and since this was the first time that had ever happened, I was going to cut some slack. But then I tasted the burritos and they were straight up awful. They were tasteless and didn't taste fresh. Not sure what's going on here but If I get another tasteless burrito not sure I'll get them anymore.
