It has been 4 years since I've come here last. Seems like there has been a change in ownership again since then. Quality of food has been going south since this place opened. And with each change of management, food quality just got worse than the previous. This time around, I don't think it could get any worse. This place definitely does not take pride in its cooking in any way and it shows in the food quality.
We love Vit Goel Tofu! Great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Banchan comes with your meal. Sister business with Lighthouse Tofu in Annandale.
This place is the standard for Korean soft tofu stew. It's their specialty dish and they do it right. It's the best Korean comfort food and a steady constant to come to. Side dishes are quality too. Must try if you haven't been before. Those who have been know it's good.
Great place to have a tofu soup. All of the tofu soup are great(yes I tried it all)! But the seafood pancake is only average. My suggestion is only order the tofu soup and eat the small dish! Small dish is great! Will be back again!
We went here many times and enjoyed the food. However recently, they started to charge the takeout containers – $0.25 for small, and $ 3.00 for large. This is ridiculous!!! If you have leftovers, you are expected to take them home. BUT charging $ 3.00 for a container is a ripoff. However, they do NOT charge extra container fees for a to-go order. If you think you will have leftovers, order to-go and eat at the restaurant.
Bad service and staff is really rude to us.All of our dishes included the water were placed on the opposite side of our side and we need to put everything to the right place by ourselves. Think about all dish is super hot and it’s not easy to move. All food is super salty and overcooked.Considering the price, the food is not worth at all.
3.5 starts! Pretty decent & delicious, Seafood Tofu & Oyster Tofu ??Gabi is average & ok.Overall is good & repeat!
Kimchi was probably the best ive ever had. Soondubu was good. Cheap prices. Would definitely go back. Wish dc had a korean restaurant like this…
Excellent food. Went for dinner and had the pancake and a tofu soup. Kimchi was amazing, the pancake was crispy and delicious, and the soup was tender and flavorful. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing. I've been several times now with my partner and my family. Everything is delicious and the service is impeccable. We've sampled a bit of everything from the menu now. On my first trip, I got the Stone Pot Bibim Bap and my partner got the Kimchi & Beef Tofu Soup. We were both thrilled with our choices. On our second trip I brought my parents along with us and we got the Seafood Pancake (oh my god!) the Boolgogi, the Noodles Stir-fired with Calamari (seriously amazing and huge portions!), and the Kimchi & Beef Tofu Soup again. All of the dishes were amazing and the bonchon that came out with a few of the dishes were also spectacular. This is one of those places that get filled up quick around lunch and dinner times, so you may want to go during an irregular time if you are concerned about covid. They do have hand sanitizer at every table and every staff member wears masks. Food comes out quick too.
