The best sushi in this area. Quaint little eatery. It is very popular and gets rather crowded. A lot of variety and almost everything is tasty. We go here often, never disappoints.
This was my first time trying this place. And nothing disappointed!The sushi I ordered was fresh, well made, and the rice was very fresh as well!Takoyaki was also fresh! Definitely house made. It was absolutely delicious.As my main I had shrimp tempura. It was SO GOOD. Ingredients were fresh, cooked properly, it was perfect. The shrimp and vegetable were crispy, and perfectly cooked. The portion was much bigger than expected as well!Definitely going to be going back.
I was looking for a more affordable sushi place (than the one i recently went to) and found this one the other day.Unlike the one i went to north of here (which i wont name) who were also very nice (staff) but they had loud dance club music, uncomfortable hard clear plastic chairs, smaller salmon sushi portions for more money/cost, charged a dollar for some side dipping sauce (other than the free soy sauce on the table) and had paper straws that stick to your tongue and lips, so, i searched for another place and found this one.Matsu is farther away but the atmosphere was nice, comfy chairs, nice soft music, plastic straws, bigger salmon for less money and free dipping sauce! It’s the simple things that matter when dining out.again, i loved the staff at the “other” place as they were beyond kind and helpful, but Matsu Sushi is more my kind of place.
Last time I ate here was 8+ years ago. The food was awesome then. Tonight I cameDuring a busy Friday and everything was perfect! We didn’t wait long to be seated, service was above and beyond on all levels. The Sushi is amazing and fresh! This Restaurant has been here for 10 plus years and keeps on improving! I am truly thankful for this Restaurant!

Came there with 4 of my friends. We first ordered a roll combo and 2 appetizers because we did not know how the portion looks like, but we said we will order more if we are not full. The lady served me she was so rude saying that since we have 4 people we have to order 4 meals for 4 people. Ridiculous! She even rolled her eyes when we were trying to ask about the food portion. Although I did not look at her all the time, I can still feel her voice is full of disrespect and judgments. The food was not terrible but she made the overall experience terrible. That was my first time there as well as my last time. NEVER COME BACK!
My favorite sushi in town. I love the Vegas roll for fried variety. Their sashimi is fantastic, I've never had a bad roll or meal. Travels well, easy to call ahead if you need carryout. Lovely intimate atmosphere if you decide to dine in. They have traditional meals in addition to sushi.
Did a take out this time. Food was piping hot an delicious. The staff is always kind and patient even when they are super busy. The variety of dishes is fantastic. Try their tempura upon. The soup base is very good.
The restaurant is good but the service is way too slow. Been a client for years but service is declining. They can do better.
