I couldn’t hang ya’lll…….Daniel, the manager was so nice to walk me thru the menu and tried to warn me that the medium level was a little spicy. Of course I didn’t listen. :)The chicken was fried on the spot and came out piping hot. The coolness of the sauce and coleslaw helped to bring down the heat from the spice. I would order this again, but with mild spice
First time here and the loaded fries were amazing! Portion was big enough to feed two people! Tons of chicken compared to fries which I was really pleased with! The wait was long because placed got busy really fast! Delicious food I will definitely be back!
Worth the 20 minute drive from Manassas ?? I got combo 1, chicken sando with fries and drink. I'm big on eating spicy food, but decided to just get Mild today to test out the spice levels. Despite not being that spicy (to me) it was still very flavorful and deliciously seasoned. Chicken sando is definitely a huge portion, but I skipped breakfast in preparation for this ?Great meal, will definitely bring the family back to this place
The chicken sandwich is hands down the best I ever had and I eat a lot of chicken sandwiches!Their location has great customer service and is very clean. I can’t wait until I try the rest of the menu!!!
Great Chicken Sandwich. Everything stayed crispy and juicy, especially the waffle fries the next day. I got the medium it was hot but not unbearable. the Hangry sauce definitely helps with some balance (I like it with the fries but should have put it on the sandwich. Get Medium hit chicken sandoit if you enjoy spice otherwise, get mild or plain. I thoroughly enjoyed the Korean chicken bites over rice. The only change I would bake would be to put the slaw on the side (I know it's a big thing nowadays) but it's just as easy for me to put the amount of slaw that I want in the sandwich so things don't get out of hand lol. Overall it was good. I'd be interested to see how well they do fried chicken if it gets on the menu.

We each got something different off the menu:- Chicken Sando: Huge sandwich! Could only finish half! The chicken is made to order which makes it piping hot and crispy when served up.- Chicken Tenders: Again, huge portions and piping hot and crispy.- Chicken & Waffles: same tenders served but w/ waffles. The waffles were perfectly crisp on the outside and a good airy texture on the inside.- Waffle Fries: so good and well seasoned. Not at all like Chick-fil-A waffle fries.Now on to the spice levels - we tried 3 levels:- Medium: I like spicy... But damn, medium was spicy! I compare it to a Shin Ramen w/ extra hot chili oils. The pickles and slaw def helps to cool things down some.- Mild: had a bit of a kick, but easy. My 13 had no problem with it.- No Heat: flavorful! Would recommend for Chicken & Waffle or for those that cannot handle heat.We really enjoyed our meal and will be back!(Cleanliness got 3 because the floors were wet and sticky. We came in around 4pm on a Tuesday. Was not busy.)
Came to Virginia for the first time to visit an old friend so I've never heard of Hangry Joe's before. I didn't expect food to be all that great overall in Virginia coming from Los Angeles where there are so many delicious options. But ohhhhhh boy was I wrong. I love nashville hot chicken sandwiches and this is the best I ever had. They do not skimp on the chicken and it was perfectly seasoned to my taste. I've been here for a week and I've already ate there 4 times. I'll definitely crave their chicken sando!
I’ll be coming here now when im craving chicken this place was really good. Had their chicken and waffles but im going to try the rest of the menu on my next visits 5/5 great service
I’ve tried burgers all over Europe and in America and I have to say their burgers are by far the best chicken burgers there is. The seasoning is so unique and combines to the sour with a hint of sweetness of the coleslaw wonderfully. Their signature sauce really makes it extra juicy and flavorful. I can’t wait to go again and try their other dishes!!!!
I was excited for this location close to home. I'm a frequent of FfX location. 2nd time trying the chicken and waffles... both times I ordered MILD... 1st time it was so spicy I couldn't finish it... 2nd time same too spicy...not MILD!! Then I bite into my waffle and a plastic zip tie...was baked into my waffle... it's super unsanitary. I understand mistakes can be made but that's just gross... they did refund my order .. but the fact that both times chicken is over spiced... I just had to share my experience. I've been to FFX location so many times... I was surprised at how different. Even the Soy ginger nuggets were not cooked the same.
