The foods were mostly salty. They used not fresh but salty frozen fish to make a steamed fish dish, and that made the dish very salty. Most items were overpriced concerning the quality and the quantity of their foods. They did not use good quality of meat either. Very disappointing! I do not recommend this restaurant. Maybe non-Korean customers might say good things about this place, but their foods are pretty bad.
Way over priced for this type of food.Owner replied back saying not to go to restaurants in Korean . I definitely won’t be coming to this dump for sure.
The best Korean restaurant that we’ve ever been I believe. Everything was very good. Big servings, and we over ordered but took them to go and ate the leftovers for dinner. Bossam’s very good, clean taste, and perfectly cooked. Haemul pajeun (seafood scallion pancake)was amazing also. Again, big serving. Quick service and our server was very nice. Bibimbap and bulgogi were good also. We enjoyed our experience. One thing though, you’ll have to endure an occasional break of fermented scent in the restaurant. Overall, it’s authentically great! BTW, I heard that there mackerel is the best, so we’re going back! ?????
Met a friend here for dinner a couple of nights ago. Service and food was excellent! We ordered spicy grilled pork ( 제육볶음) and crushed bean stew (콩비지). Our servers were very attentive, but not bothersome. Will certainly return!
Grilled Mackerel and Cheonggukjang combo is amazing!! Super authentic side dishes and kimchi. Servers are very kind and accommodating.
I ordered galbi tang. OmgIt was terrible compared to that expensive price.
Broiled mackerel and fried belt fish are good. I really liked how it fries belt fish. It’s outside is very crunch. The lunch specials are good deal. Bean paste soup (된장찌개) is always good. The service is always good; its waitresses are proactive about refilling banchans.
Love their lunch specials, fried fish with different soups and their bossam? Omg!! Must try!
I came here because I love tok sok jip in Annandale, and this had their name on their sign. The menu is very similar if not the same, but much less crowded and it's cozier. Also, parking is much better here. I always get the buddae jeongol, and love eating the leftovers for days after! It's very affordable for the portion sizes they offer, and I love the casual atmosphere.
The only reason I cant give a 5 is the pancakes. The batter has no flavor, it did not taste seasoned to me. Everything else was amazing. I will definitely go again.
