We arrived 5-5:15 on a Wednesday. There was one couple there. The dining room was pretty and inviting. We ordered French onion soup which was beef broth basically, very bland. Side salad was fine just very average. We also got Cajun pasta which is spinach stuffed ravioli with some type of Salisbury gravy on top, terrible and very weird. We also tried the chicken Panini sandwich that was shared one small piece of chicken didn’t even cover the entire piece of bread. The place looks amazing and it’s pretty inside the food quality does not match the eloquence of the dining room. The service was ok she did her job but was not friendly.
Service was excellent. Food was tasty . Fish dip had too much going on and was served warm. Not to my taste. Place was busy but not swamped. It was a bit pricey!!
The waitress was very attentive and the food was amazing. I had the halibut with gouda grits and asparagus, delicious. My date had Appalachian chicken and it too was amazing. Fried green tomatoes is a must try the balsamic glaze pairs very well. The only thing is if you are wanting a very intimate setting, this place is a little loud because of the big rooms and tall ceilings. Vivian's is a must if your downtown Bristol.
It was great. Good, atmosphere, nice place to get together.
The food was extraordinary, flavorful and an ample serving. Service was excellent. This is a must place to dine if you are in Bristol
Good food but too pricey for the amount and taste.
The restaurant was freezingâ¦like 50 something degrees. We couldnât wait to leave because of that. My wife literally had to walk outside three or four times just to warm up. The service was fair at best. Our waitress only came by one time to let us know that the food was almost ready. It took the food 50 minutes to get to us. During this time Iâm sure our food had plenty of time to cool down because it was Luke warm by the time it arrived to us. The food was gross. My bacon was raw and most of the food on my plate was Luke warm or cold. The chicken was tough to cut and chew. My wife got the pasta with steak. We asked if the steak was tender and the waitress assured us it was. The steak was literally rubber. My wife had to pull every single piece out just so she could eat the pasta. On top of all of this, the prices were outrageous for the portions and lack of proper preparation. I would give this restaurant half a star if it were available.
Not sure this went thru on first attempt. Previously a great experience; beautiful setting and bar! We were early, went up to Lumac but informed restaurant we would be there at our scheduled time. We arrived and table was not ready, had to push two together. Sketchy seating for a reservation! Menu is great but they were out of many items without a stab At replacements. Early in evening to be out of Cornbread and trout! Food was mediocre, wait for drinks was ridiculous and beef way overcooked. Very gracious server- not her fault the whole process was behind. The place seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. When folks have a reservations, perhaps some walk-ins need to be turned away so the caliber of the experience is preserved for Reservations! I will try again but was disappointed I coaxed my friends to dine there. We were not impressed!
We really enjoyed our Breakfast. Food was wonderful. Restaurant is very very nice. Our server was terrific.
Great service by Brandon for dinner. Hailey at roof top bar provided warm hospitality
