This is definitely a college bar. Downstairs, though, it wasn’t very crowded. The service was pretty fast. The water tasted bad, and the Caesar salad had too much dressing. The chicken fingers were delicious!! The fried mac n cheese wasn’t great. I think this was a quick place to eat, but the food didn’t stand out
Even on the busiest nights you get served fast. Go feel that dance floor flex beneath you.
I'm personally too old for this place but it's perfect for the college crowd and you can see they love it. Definitely one of the Tech crowd favorites.
Iconic, but drunkenness is a sin. God loves you so much and wants you to live life to the fullest, His plans for you are so much more than a hazy late night and hangover!
Was there with my #HokieGrad... as expected, it was crowded, but we got drinks quickly. Has both an indoor and an outdoor area. Had fun taking pictures of our crew with the VT flag!
Greatest bar in the world. Drink prices, food prices, ownership, management, staff, DJ. No matter how busy it is, the staff makes drinks FAST. I've been coming here since 2014. I've traveled around the country and around the world. Still my favorite bar. Great food too!! Mac n Cheese bites after hours. Tip well. They deserve it.
Just overhyped. Don't waste your money. Just overhyped. there are better places to visit. Too costly.
I am going to give this a high rating for a huge College Bar. 3 levels including an outdoor level with cornhole and another bar. Obviously everyone says to get The Rail (it wasn't that good and will mess you up) but the rest of the bar was great lots of selection on tap or bottles/cans and good food. Fun time and again really spacious.
Went there on a Tuesday night, happened to be Karaoke night! It has a nice vibe and a good beer selection. It's definitely an undergrad environment. It felt awkward for a pair of mid thirties dudes hanging out on a weekday night because it was the only place open past midnight.
Love to eat here after tech games. Nice bar with drink specials and awesome apps. Gets very busy so get there early. Night time its a cool college bar
