Moe's has completely stopped getting our orders right. We've been eating at this particular Moe's for almost a decade, and it used to be one of our favorite fast food places. For the past year, it's gotten so bad that we refuse to order online - they get those orders wrong 100% of the time. But today we went in person to watch them make our food, and they still managed to put ingredients in the food that I didn't order (because I can't eat them). So we get home, open our food, and I literally can't eat it. This has happened so many times we can't count.
Their order prioritization is atrocious. We waited at the front of the line for at least twenty minutes (we got there because the people in front of us left). It seems they have to fulfill every online order before taking counter orders. All in all it took us over 40 minutes to get our food. Chipotle is just across the street, and the time saved is definitely worth the price difference.
Always recommend moes in bburg! Good people and food. I eat here very frequently if that tells u anything.
Food smelled rancid and tasted like it was made days ago. Made my stomach hurt so bad afterwards. There were flies all over the salsa bar. Needless to say I will not be returning. The health inspector needs to pay this place a visit.
Waited an hour for a cold burrito with the wrong ingredients that was totally unwrapped. Waste of time and money.
Ordered at the counter. Asked for double meat, didn't get it. Asked for the cheese on the meat (so it would melt) instead of on top of other toppings, didn't get it. This would of been prevented if I was allowed to watch them make it like every other Moe's. They were out of the two most common salsa flavors and out of sweet tea. Dark chicken had pieces that were dry and hard enough to chip teeth. My visit was during lunch time and wasn't busy.
Ordered through the app and wanted to get the food around noon. It was prepared early and sat on a table for who knows how long so it was cold, and the chips were somehow both bland and over salted, if they weren't already stale.
Moe's has very good food. The prices are a little high but I'm willing to make the splurge once in a while.
Moe's is great, don't get me wrong, but y'all need to go back to the old system. The integration to have a single stream system where the in-person customers is treated no differently than online orders means you end up waiting while seeing employees make other people's food (who aren't even here btw, some grubhub person zips in and out to get it). Go back to the old system, do it like Chipotle and Subway, the in-person customer is so much more valuable and having to wait 30 minutes for a chicken stack while I'm alone in your store is just sad.
