Good customer service and tea. I also like the coffee grinder in the sitting area.
cashier was friendly and the place is clean. Not sure how i feel about their chai latte tho. There is too much foam and the foam was too bubbly if that makes sense. I used to work at a coffee shop and I spent quite sometime thinking and practicing frothing and watching pro videos, i also observed many co-workers' bad frothing actions; I know a bad frothing when i see one. and this is one of those bad ones. Either the barista was re-heating and re-frothing some leftover steamed milk or they let too much air into the milk/steaming wand was too high. This is not how any tea latte or espresso latte should be, my old boss would've told me to dump it, clean the pitcher, and froth a fresh new batch. Mill Mountain either need to re-train or to tell the baristas to pay more attention.if you don't pay much attention to texture and just want the blend of the caffeine and milk, you probably wouldn't mind too much and you'll probably enjoy their drinks, food, and atmosphere.maybe i was just unlucky and got the bad barista on their bad day/morning. Either way, i'm not getting any of their hot lattes again.

Great coffee shop. Has lots of fresh pastries and made to order sandwiches. My friends loved their coffee and we could see the beans being processed right in the open. Best scone I have ever had. Worth the visit while in Blacksburg.
Ive gotten coffee here several times.. the place has gone downhill. Used to be good, and now this morning I ordered a coffee that tasted like it was brewed with charcoal. Burnt, and un-drinkable.I think they just have young female students working there who are all under-trained.I think the ownership needs to pass hands, or the current owners need to re-evaluate their training process.
First rate coffee - every single employee is nice and personable! Have logged countless hours of studying here and never once disappointed in the quality of food or coffee! 10/10 best coffee in Blacksburg!
