Amazing place to get meats, pasta and paratha
I Just wanted to say a big thank you to Mrs Linda james, she's genuine kindness and bluntness at times when I needed to face reality are what made me progress. I invested $5000 and got $46,700 in a week. I only wish I had known about you earlier from the first moment I decided to trade. Nevertheless, I am grateful! contact her via Email: [email protected] WhatsApp: +18047231820.
Nice spot! Friendly staff, tasty food. We were looking for somewhere a bit different than usual road-trip chain restaurant food, and this hit the spot. Would come here again if I end up visiting this area again. :)
Wonderful workers great management and an awesome owner food was amazing and would recommend for everyone
Like a lot of old time Blacksburg, there isn't a lot of service and your date won't believe you're eating here but it is a gem. The flavors are the richest, most interesting spices you'll find in the New River Valley and almost all the food is stellar -- if sometimes dry before tahini and balsamic vinaigrette. The kebab platter is my favorite but there is also a kebab sandwich and many other choices. I don't love the Egyptian potatoes but otherwise you're safe being adventurous. You will need to order and pay at the counter and you likely will have the restaurant to yourself if you're not there at a predictable time. The baklava is the house dessert (although they sell a ton of international pre-packaged desserts) and you can dine outside under cover most of the year. It is near Our Daily Bread and behind Cookout. It does a small fraction of one percent of Cookout but it is a better meal and quicker that the line that snakes all across the parking lot after dark.
Nice option for Mediterranean food along with groceries!
Seak Shawarma Platter and side salad. The beef was low quality, expected higher quality for the price. The onion in the salad was delicious. The pistachio baklava looked delicious but I did not have room to try it. It was freezing in the restaurant area. The thermostat was set on 56. My boyfriend had the Chicken Shawarma Platter. I would order that if I go back.
Excellent food, excellent service. Seems like a small family owned restaurant. The cashiers/servers are extremely friendly. Make you feel like you are part of their family. Highly recommend trying this place out.
Great experience! I had family in town and we tried this place out and it was delicious. Great customer service and food. Good size portions and flavorful. We will definitely be back!
The coffee is very, very bad and costs $4.25. It seems like warm, bean colored water. Weak does not do this travesty justice. Seriously, it was an expensive cup of water.I wouldn't give that coffee to a customer for free, let alone charge for it. Folgers, maxwell house, WalMart brand, etc, are all light-years ahead of Lucie Monroes coffee. That's really saying something. Hate to rag on a small business, but an injustice occurred here.
