Wow. A local business serving (imo) the best Asian food in Blacksburg at fair prices with large portions. Service is also extremely fast, friendly, and patient.Their new menu communicates options 1000x better than their old one. Out of every restaurant in the Burgs, I'll miss this one the most.
My father and I shared the dry fried green beans and tree fungus beef dishes. They were fast and the flavors are complex, layered, nicely heated without being too hot. The servings are generous! This feels authentic, a family run place - how lucky are we to have this option in little Blacksburg! Their non traditional menu is dazzling and I can’t wait to try more!What a snazzy decor to complement a wonderful meal!
Great waitstaff & food! Food came out quickly & each dish had a unique flavor. Loved the interior design, which was modern.
We were very disappointed in the overall quality. All of our meat dishes were mostly bone and grizzle and we threw most of it out. The spicy potatoes were drowned in grease and had a chemical, plastic taste to them. Maybe this is better at the restaurant but I won't try delivery again. The duck was the best dish, but still largely bones.
Traditional Chinese ingredients and taste profile in a clean contemporary setting. This restaurant prepares a more authentic Asian style recipes than the typical Chinese-American takeout and of a higher quality. It is a great new addition to the Asian cuisine choices in Blacksburg.
We had a wonderful meal. The pork with tree fungus was delicious and spicy. The pork in Bejing was a sweet BBQ. The staff was pleasant. This is the most authentic Chinese we have had in ages. What a great treasure to find in Blacksburg. The portions were huge. The menu needs some work. The building could be bigger. The food was amazing. I'm looking forward to watching them grow. They are relatively new and a welcome addition to Blacksburg.
The food is good quality and good size. They use very fresh ingredients. The owner is super nice. The only thing I would say is it is a bit pricy. I would order food here for a party, but not come here regularly for my lunch. In general, I would give 4.5 stars.
Amazing food! Our group shared and enjoyed several entrees. The staff was helpful and attentive. One of our group is a vegetarian and said her choices were excellent. We will return soon!
This is a unique gem. I hope it lasts. The food is *really* authentic, so if you're not used to chopped up chicken with the bones still in, be warned that almost all of the cooking here is bone-in with the meat, even the stuff you think won't be. It's better that way, but don't go in expecting a neat and tidy eating experience. Honestly I have no idea how a town the size of blacksburg supports this place, but I'm glad it does. Absolutely top notch food you won't find anywhere else in the state outside of possibly the DC area.
Food was great. Tasted very authentic and the meal sizes were shareable. Highly recommend for those in groups.
