It took an hour to get food, food was not hot, steak and cheese had no cheese and on regular bread and no mayo. Mozzarella sticks with no marinara sauce. Our whole visit was not good. You would think that a small business that has been around for such a long time would have better food. It mite be ok for college kids, but not if you want a good meal.

I wish I was writing a review about great food and service. Unfortunately, my Doordash order was canceled by this restaurant 40 mins after I received confirmation that it was received and being prepared. The driver showed up at 35 mins. I assume since I wasn’t made aware otherwise that they were busy and missed the order. Therefore rather than fixing and making it right they canceled? Meanwhile I’m sitting at home with Covid finding another place to order and wait an hour for delivery. Poor customer service. I called the restaurant and the girl that answered phone immediately said 25 min wait and no takeout orders. When I stated I was checking because of a canceled 40 min door dash order she said “ahh huh, yeah have a great day!” No sorry..nothing. Nice…
The food was not great, I saw this online and it looked good. A nice diner, you know? But the food in some of the other reviews looks way better than what I was served today. The eggs had a brown color to them instead of yellow, the sausage was burned and the hash browns were ok. Definitely go somewhere else for breakfast.
It took well over an hour for our food to be delivered to us. When it was delivered, it was barely warm. We weren’t checked on at all during the wait.Our waitress said they are having some issues in the kitchen - until those are resolved, I would not recommend eating here.
Gravy biscuits where terrible. Service was extremely slow even thought the restaurant was not busy. I would recommend skipping this one, there is much better breakfast places close by.
Walked in at approximately 11:45 and took 45 min to be sat down. Once seated,, we were placed in a booth meant for 4 and we had a party of 6. Food took over an hour to be sent. Wasn’t checked in on while we were waiting.
Awesome, delicious food! Prices are decent and the place is super friendly!! The sausage gravy rocks!! I'll be back!!
Let's see... everything was either pre-packaged frozen food or simply not fresh. The pancakes were rubbery and flavorless. The sausage gravy was obviously powdered gravy with a few chunks of sausage thrown in. The biscuits were pucks. The servers were friendly, but all in all I can get a much better breakfast at Waffle House or IHOP, and that's just sad.
The best brunch I've had in Blacksburg. It doesn't try too hard and it's really good food
