The food was okay, service was terrible and I waited for my food for thirty minutes past the time they told me to come pick it up. I went home, ate my food and a few hours later proceeded to vomit and become sick for multiple days. I went to the ER and they told me it was food poising where it was pinned down to my meal at Hunan King. This is the worst restaurant in Blacksburg and going here will most defiantly expose you to potential food poising. I will never be coming back here and have already warned every individual of every organization that I am involved with that Hunan King will give them terrible food poising. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs.
Super delicious food. I have been many Chinese restaurants in my life however this is my best restaurant ever. Every single time I order it comes with amazing taste. Super Amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant in Blacksburg Virginia. If you like Chinese food please give them an opportunity at least once, I’m very sure you will love it.
Very rude customer service. The woman at the front has little patience with questions and has a quick attitude when it comes to misunderstandings.I definitely wouldn't recommend spending money here due to the quality of service. Don't spend your money to be disrespected.
I went here because my girlfriend told me this is where we were going. As a food critic I took this on as a challenge. We went in on a Saturday night and it was empty. Definitely has a weird/dusty atmosphere. I ordered the general Tsos which is a Chinese food fan favorite. It was fine. Good taste but I’ve definitely had better. Everyone was satisfied but no one was screaming out of enjoyment. I do that sometimes. End of the day I’ll never go back there, just get Panda Express. Prob a little overpriced

Everything I have ordered has been really great. The fried rice is the best. But the lo mein and general tsos chicken are perfect. Nice light crisp to chicken with tender center. Plus the fried dumplings are amazing.
I grew up in Blacksburg and this was my favorite place to eat in the 33 years I lived there

Probably the worst chinese I've ever had in my entire life. The food was awful, cold, and delivered poorly. I ordered the crispy beef which in fact was not at all crispy, it tasted like orange chicken rather than beef. I additionally ordered a spring roll which was alright on the outside but once you got in, it was straight mush. The shrimp was the size of a peanut. The quality provided at this restaurant is undeniably horrid. I will not be eating here again and do not recommend it to any one in the area.
