Went to Hokie House countless times in college at VT but can only speak to their drinks selection.They’ve got a great and fun atmosphere on the second floor with darts, pool tables, and loud music. It’s always packed and always a great time.If you’re looking for a great drink, get a Grateful Dead. It’s my favorite drink, and I’ve tried to recreate it to this day without success.Had one bad experience one time where a bouncer almost snapped my Pennsylvania ID in half because he didn’t know they didn’t bend like the Virginia ones. On one hand, the Hokie House is a typical college bar ... slightly rundown with a lingering scent of stale beer. HOWEVER, the food is way above par ...burger, wings, fries, and onion rings are all homemade and very good! If you go to a restaurant for food, and not atmosphere, this place is a keeper! The Hokie House offers fair prices and good service as well ... I'll definitely be back!

Hokie House is one of the best places in the Blacksburg area. Take it from a local! I’ve lived here pretty much my whole life. You won’t regret your visit. The food is excellent & staff are all respectful. Sometimes I dine alone here and when I dine alone, they chat with me and ask how I’m doing!
Favorite bar of the evening! Drinks were good quality at the right prices. Lots of fun playing some darts with lots of fun people. I was taken bar hopping by my #HokieGrad and this was my favorite one of the night.
Visit on a VT GameDay and had a great time! The burgers and fries were excellent! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff as well. Will definitely return when I am next at Tech to visit my daughter.
Great experience for an out of town fan coming to watch them play VTech. We got 2 orders of wings, and the wings were delivered fast and they were HUGE. Very good experience with great people working and eating there.
