The food here is always wonderful. Our food and drinks were prepared very quickly after ordering and it was all great. The outside seating is perfect for the spring and summer weather with plenty of shade to make it comfortable.
The biggest flour tortilla shells I have seen...Very large portion size...we had to get a box to go.
I love this place. The inside looks like the house from encanto. Today the waiter gave us flowers on our margaritas and I shed a tear. I have not felt happiness like this in so long. 10/10, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
North Main El Rodeo is adjacent to North campus and credible if a little plain while this location on South Main shares nothing but the name. It is crowded for reasons I don't understand and the food is underwhelming. If you're looking for Mexican, our other local choices are all better.
Came in for an early dinner around 5pm. Fast and great service. Food was good. It was normal good Mexican food. It wasn’t bad.
Dined outside for lunch. It was nice to have that option. The food was good but the service wasn't excellent this visit.
I came for a late lunch around 3pm. I was the only one in the restaurant. It was clean, pretty dark as the blinds were closed. The lighting at the table was not that great. I ordered ACP in a taco shell bowl. It didn’t have any rice in it, and was very soupy. The shell tasted a little like old grease. I waited a short time for a sweet tea refill. The staff was nice, not overly attentive. I gave it a 2/5 because I didn’t think the food was that great. But maybe it was an off day.The restaurant is in a small mall near Va Tech. Parking is minimal in front of the building. There’s a couple other restaurants close as well as a Starbucks a couple clothing stores, and a huge movie theater.
Absolutely wonderful. Restaurant was clean,staff friendly and helpful, food delicious served quickly will definitely eat here again. I definitely recommend the tall dos Equis Amber
This place was very disappointing. If I wanted walmart tacos I could have made them at home. It was very heavy on the American influence. Nothing tasted like mexican food at all. It was less Authentic than a Taco Bell.
I am another customer here to say WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD CAREFULLY! We dined there on 10/21. Was overcharged $6 on the credit card. Went into the restaurant, spoke to a manager and we were able to get that money back. This has never happened to me in all my 38 years. Absolutely unacceptable. We have loved this restaurant until this happened. It was the only Mexican restaurant we ate at. Today we decided to give it one more chance. Unfortunately, we got the same waiter who scammed us for an extra tip. He either didn’t understand us or didn’t care, but we had trouble getting another waiter. In the end we were worried that after making a bit of fuss, they would mess with our food. We left and went to another Mexican restaurant and had a lovely experience. We will never return here again. They lost a family of frequent customers. The competition in this area is so great, they should take care to not allow such persons to continue to work in their establishment.
