This place is absolutely bonkers with how amazing their service, prices, and good quality food are. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Blacksburg for broke college students. Even on their busiest nights I've had my food delivered in under 10 minutes. They deserve an award!
Love El Rods. But tonight I ordered queso for takeout, and what I received wasn’t queso. It was the other sweet white sauce. I called and explained what happened, and was hung up on immediately. Called back and no answer.

They sat me, I ordered and got my food all in 3 minutes. My roommate had a mental breakdown and broke up with his girlfriend. They met freshman year and were a great couple at the time, but as the years went on, they grew as people, and they grew away from each other.Hopefully one day they’ll find each other again, maybe even at El Rods, and get margaritas together. The jumbo ones with mango. They’re huge.Anyway, they were a beautiful couple and I wish the best for them going forward, whether that be if they split up for good or come back together.Great food!
