As a whiskey guy, I was very pleasantly surprised by Blacksburg Wine Lab. Ian was our bartender, and one of the best I have met. I highly recommend this establishment.
Very unique concept and love the Cheese and Charcuterie board! Baked Brie was fantastic. You have to try both. Huge selection of wine, other alcoholic beverages were also available. I believe chef changes the menu often. Food was not your average bar food, you wouldn’t find it elsewhere. Everyone from our group loved their sandwiches and salads. I do wish there were more sandwich selections, six out of eleven people ordered Chipotle Turkey sandwich. Tomato soup had a good flavor but it was very thick, almost tasted like a fancy spaghetti sauce. No one was remotely interested in the tinned seafood which was a big section on their menu. I am curious how their sales in tinned seafood were. I am sure some of them are delicious and rare to find, but it just didn’t seem like a lunch item. I would try them if I was there with a friend to have a few glasses of wine. All and all, food was gourmet and affordable. I highly recommend this place.
Great variety with great range of prices. Food is excellent and the bar is surprisingly good. Surprising because many wine focused places don't make well crafted cocktails, but these were excellent.
Perfect venue for intimate reunion. Delicious appetizer and great wine. Must visit in town!
Date night, early day off, drinks with friends, family gathering, client meeting, business celebration, or really any occasion this is the place for it. The atmosphere, friendly staff, and experience is ?. The wine selection is AMAZING but if you are into classic cocktails and beer they also have you covered! Highly recommend making a reservation because it gets busy quick! The food is local and amazing, try a classic salad and be pampered by the charcuterie boards. Save some room for their simple and amazing desserts! You will not be disappointed ??- ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommended - Wine Lab boasts unique offerings, excellent service, and a thoughtful and unique atmosphere. They have a wide array of beverage choices, including NA options. Their food is not only delicious, but each item is a fun experience that you cannot get anywhere else. I would recommend getting a reservation - we got lucky going in early at around 5:00pm on a Friday, after that it was packed.

I visited Blacksburg Wine Lab recently for the first time with 2 friends for dinner and it was everything I could have wanted and more. The ambience is gorgeous and very welcoming, and the food and drinks are delicious. If you’re on the fence; definitely get the baked Brie! I also ordered the non-alcoholic Pomegranate Orange Spritz - delicious and so refreshing! My husband loves his Slightly Sweet Wine Flight, and both of our sandwiches were so decadent and yummy. I will definitely be back!!!

Nice drinks and food. Enjoyed it. Super close to campus (or at least my department), which makes it very convenient for a quick outing and drinks. Service is fast too which makes it all better. Can get busy on weekends, so reservations can help. Doesn’t seem too popular with students though.
