I gave three stars because the food is actually good here, as I’ve eaten here more than twice but the wait time is an issue now. I don’t know if they have a decrease in workers due to the pandemic or what but if you order food from here I suggest ordering on a day when you have time to wait and plan to go and pickup your food an hour from when you order it to make it easier in yourself. Maybe call and ask for your order status before leaving home because the website status is not accurate. I ordered food here tonight and waited outside about an hour, although my order status online said it was ready.

The food is good. But please don't pay via credit card here when ordering online (Restaurant Website). Any person can walk in and see your card details on the receipt that is laying in the counter. It's preferable that you pay with your card when you got there for pick up.

I ordered online. They said the food would be ready by 5:30. It is now 5:50pm. When I called I was rudely interrupted. All I wanted to ask was an approximate time, and before I could finish my sentence over the phone, they hung up. If you expect a quick meal or bare minimum customer service, do not eat here.

I dont understand why chinese people still dont let customers dine. Seriously just close the door.

While food is good, absolutely ridiculous to try and order delivery from this place. Their website gives you an option to “order online” but doesn’t provide any tracking or updates about your order. I waited over one hour and twenty minutes for my delivery when the restaurant was 5 minute drive. If I knew I would have so much trouble, I would’ve Ubered or walked there myself to get my order. On top of that, the “driver” information updated two separate times and said food was getting picked up at 7:02pm, but had to call the restaurant at 7:35 to find out the food was just being finished and I’d I wanted to cancel my order or get a refund, I’d have to contact Uber Eats. BUT this is t possible because the tracking info on your delivery sends you to Postmates, to which you need a login to see anything. Absolutely ridiculous and frustrating.

I was put on hold for 10 minutes as the person was working on multiple orders - which is frustrating but okay. The annoying bit was when the person finally got back on the phone. the statement was “Place your order really fast as I have others waiting” - the tone was outrageous in my opinion. The tone and statement itself made me mad enough to not place the order today (and I don’t know if I will anytime soon) and compelled me to write them a review.Have been an avid supporter of this local business and they haven’t been the best with service but food has been good so it was okay but they need to work on how to talk to a customer who btw was understanding enough to be on hold.

I'll start by saying, the food was really good, and if the review were only on food, I'd give them a 5 star (but I admittedly very rarely review anything). However, due to the extremely poor service, I'm finally reviewing to hope to provide some useful constructive criticism to fix the service issues to the business owner. Situation: We ordered online, and when I got to the store, my order was switched with someone else and I didn't realize it until I got back home. I called back to ask let them know and expected a resolution response to calm my frustration down. I would recommend for the owner to confirm the mistake (eg ask what order I I got and what I ordered, so you know I'm not scamming) and to completely refund the order/allow you to keep the food, in order to reduce my frustration. However, instead I was asked to drive back to the restaurant to return the food and I was asked "what I wanted to make it right". Keep in mind, I've already spent 1 hours between driving and waiting for my food already. Stemming from that, I asked for the food to be re-prepared, as I didn't really have another plan for dinner. Tack on another 30-40 minutes for that wait. When the food was ready, I still fully expect a refund, as I've now spent 2 hours waiting, and about 40 minutes of driving/gas and I'm already frustrated. Instead I am asked what I wanted in return. Overall, to let you know, I left extremely frustrated and wont likely come back even though I found the food VERY good. But overall, I highly recommend to take a look at how to better serve when you make mistakes. It happens, I wouldnt leave a negative comment even if you had a mistake as long as YOU made the action to make it right. By putting me, the customer in the situation to tell you how angry I am, an already extremely angry customer, It just makes me more frustrated. I really want your restaurant to succeed. Your food speaks for itself and justifies good reviews. However, please do fix your service problems (FYI the amount of time to wait is very annoying as well), and I hope it does make you more successful.

They have great food. I like their King Oyster Mushroom with Tofu, and I like their Lo Mein. I’m regular there.

Whoever worked Thursday July 22 made such good Salt & Pepper fish it sent me to heaven ? praise to the chef

I used to work in the same building as Yen's and this was my favorite lunch spot. The menu is vast and full of delicious authentic Taiwanese and Chinese dishes. They have the normal American Chinese fare such as General Tso's chicken and Lo Mein, which is good too, but you'd be doing yourself a major disservice by sticking to those more familiar dishes. Some of my favorites are Minced Pork with String Bean (the one served with yummy buns), Taiwanese Fried Chicken, Taiwanese style Cabbage (nappa cabbage with pork belly), and 3 cups chicken. I miss working so close by, but luckily I live 20 minutes away so I make a point to eat here at least a few times a year.
