Been coming to this location for years. Always really good coffee and a calm, spacious setting. Visited the other day, main barista was super friendly and prompt. Male cashier/barista was oddly dismissive? I asked one question about the cup sizes and got a snarky/rude response- he just seemed irritated. Utensil/packet station was messy too.
Good coffee but because of broken door lock, the place is too cold.
This is a nice local Peets located in the shopping plaza anchored by Whole Foods. They offer the full selection of food and brand items including coffee beans. Servers are pleasant and the barista on duty when I visited was very quick - faster than the folks working on the food. Currently there’s very limited seating indoors and a small outdoor seating section.
Excellent, staff wearing masks and gloves dealing with food.
This is my FAVORITE peets location in NoVa! Atmosphere inside is really nice and they have outdoor seating as well. The Americano is delicious and so is the pumpkin latte?
Best Peets in the area! Love the folks working here. Coffee always smokes starbucks and other big chains.Oh and they have a waffle sandwich now. Look at this craziness.
I finally had the honor to try Peet’s After several years of hearing all my friends rave about it. Hands-down the best coffee and pumpkin bread I have ever had in my life. Everything was fresh warm delicious. The pumpkin bread was so sticky warm fresh and amazing..
Cashier (guy with ponytail didn’t catch his name) needs to be retrained in customer service. I asked him what syrups they have as it was my first time there (I usually go to Starbucks) and he said “depends what you want” I continued to ask what they have… he then turns to the person I’m with and asks what I usually get … I then interrupted and asked cashier again, what syrups they have and he proceeds to tell me it’s on the menu. I ask where (because it clearly is not) and he looks at the menu himself and can’t find the list and tells me they must have taken the list of syrups off the menu. I then ask him again to list the syrups for me and he takes a deep sigh as if it’s the hardest thing he’s done all day and proceeds to list the 6 syrups. It was a long, round about conversation, centered around his smugness and poor attitude. I simply wanted to know what syrups they had, and clearly he knew them, but for whatever reason, he felt it was necessary to give me a hard time, be condescending and make it more difficult than it needed to be. He did not say thank you, did not smile once. The coffee was good, and the baristas were pleasant, so I’m giving it two stars based on that, but that cashier definitely needs to be retrained to answer simple questions politely with simple answers and lose the attitude problem. Will not be returning to this location.
