If you want good, affordable sushi? Passion Fin should be your go to. This location is one of my favorites as they have the best location-specific apps! Their sushi is fresh and creative, although far from traditional. They always have fast and great service, clean restaurant and facilities, and outdoor seating. Their delivery is amazing (the follow directions and are super quick). While not super upscale, this is one of my most frequented places to eat!

Kids loved the spicy california roll. We also got the Roti Canai and the chicken "sauce" that it comes with it's overly sweet and has a ton of sweet coconut milk in it. The "roti" itself was tasty but extremely oily. We also got the "Volcano Shrimp" which was their version of bang bang shrimp. The server said it was crispy and spicy, but it was neither. It was soft and spongy and sweet like a sesame chicken dish. We tried a couple of pieces but just couldn't eat more. Gave an honest opinion when the server asked about food but ended up getting just a $4 adjustment. Oh well ... Thought we would try something different but sometimes best to stick with a known spot.

Who knew you could get fresh sushi in Northern Virginia! I haven’t had sushi this fresh in over five years. With nearly every bite, I had to close my eyes and savor it. -Unassuming atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. It took us a while to get our food, but well worth it! Definitely the best sushi I’ve had in Northern Virginia and even DC!

Lovely little sushi place. It's always clean, the service is great and the ambience is relaxed. The food is fresh and yummy and the prices are reasonable. They have some excellent lunch specials. I don't recall exactly, but I paid a bit over $20 (with tip) for a drink, a salad and two rolls. Excellent place to meet colleagues for lunch.

So yummy sushi rolls and drinks!!❤️

Sushi is always fabulous. It was a Saturday night and we had to wait for a table. They were very busy, but the hostess kept us updated on how long it would take and was very nice. Star and her staff make everyone feel welcome. Love thE special rolls

The food is delicious. This is the best Asian food in the area hands down. Customer services exceptional. Food is fantastically flavored and fresh. The atmosphere is busy because they get a lot of business so be ready to eat your meal and enjoy and roll out You don't have to rush but you don't need to linger either. Make it happen This is the place to be so it let everybody else enjoy it and enjoy it yourself. You will want to eat here over and over again.

This restaurant seems to have good reviews on various websites so it was so shocking that we had a horrible experience today. We were a party of 7 and literally everyone had a bad dish. If we hadn't been there for a family celebration (with someone else paying), I would have spoken to the manger and then left. Miso soup was very watered down. Red snapper with chili sauce- fish was burnt, completely dried out, no flavor. The sauce with it was unrecognized and had no taste. Tonkatsu (fried chicken) - no flavor and the sauce served with it was not tonkatsu sauce. Fried tofu was disgusting - completely soggy breading and no taste. Chicken teriyaki was dried out. Drunken noodles- very little taste and the noodles were mush. Edamame appetizer (steam edamame) was ok. The only decent items were some of the sushi rolls but even those weren't great. They weren't made well - rice was dried out and the roll fell apart right away. At least two people from our group have stomach aches this evening after the meal. I just checked and looks like the restaurant had some troubling items on most recent Loudoun County Health Inspection. Maybe ownership just changed and that accounts for good reviews but bad experience. I'm not sure. I wish I could have walked out. Also, prices were high. buyer beware! Health Inspection: Passion Fin Restaurant, 42780 Creek View Plaza #100 Ashburn, VA 20147 Date inspected: Jan. 5, 2022 Total violations: 3 Observed the following foods stored in the right side sushi prep cooler at improper temperatures: spicy tuna 43F, lobster salad 43F, salmon 43F. Short temper of staff and repeated mistakes in take out orders. I ordered 5 sushi lunches to go, each with 3 rolls of sushi. That's our usual order. Over time, I noticed that "accidents" and "mistakes" become more and more frequent. Most recently, we ordered our lunch about a month ago, the food came with the wrong types of rolls. we had to drive back and exchange plain vegetable rolls for the ones that we had paid for with eel and avocado. There was no apology then. This time they gave us one lunch order with just one roll. At the dinner table, We noticed that one lunch was missing 2 rolls and took pictures of what you see below. After a lot of back-and-forth with text messaging (the pictures didn't come through) and having to prove their mistake, the manager called me back together with a chef on a speaker. they accused me of lying that basically someone took out the two rolls. They claim that since the boxes made for three rolls and now there is only one in the Box somebody took the other two out (note that the box is obviously very clean and there is not a drop of sauce or rice around the single roll).. Also please note that I repeatedly requested all the roles to be cut into eight pieces instead of six. As you can see, that wasn't done. Needless to say that the screaming of the chef over the phone is inexcusable and will not be tolerated.

I needed a solid go to for a last minute Christmas gift as my first gift idea fell through. Luckily I remembered our awesome experience eating here while visiting from Vermont and that this happened to be their favorite restaurant. It is not apparent on their website how to purchase a gift certificate so I just decided to call. Whoever answers the phone there simply oozes pure joy thru the phone and was happy to explain how to find the gift certificates at the bottom of their online ordering menu.
