A week ago I had the special samosa and beef nihari at Lakshmi Chowk. Both were incredible. The nihari had the perfect amount of spiciness for me: it gave the dish a kick but wasn’t overwhelming. The toppings on the samosa were cool and rich. The layers of flavor and the textures were complex and satisfying and the service was excellent. No fewer than four employees came to my table to check on me; two offered me tea. My server was kind and courteous and prompt. I have never written a Google restaurant review before but Lakshmi Chowk motivated me to do so! I hope you have the same experience I did.
We had a fabulous catering experience from Lakshami Chowk Kabob & Karahi. Their food is best as alway. It was served really hot and taste was so good every one liked it. This would be our go to place from now. Thank you guys, we really appreciate your hard work. Highly recommended, talk to them for your any kind of event they won’t let you down.
Not a good experience because we asked for mild but still food was too spicy and you couldn’t taste the meat at all. Lamb chops were over cooked actually burnt. Chicken seekh kebab meat tasted old too but overall staff was nice. Food is pricey too.
Food is decent but there is a lady working the register with a terrible attitude. If you ask her questions she will be super annoyed and rude. I asked her about some clarification on the food and she started raising her voice where the other guests at a nearby table started looking at us. I was embarrassed and literally told her I am OK with what I have today but can you educate me on the difference in dishes so that I can order something else next time. I also tried to gave her benefit of the doubt thinking she might have worked all day but she definitely ruined our vibe and we decided not to go back. The lady was also touching people's payments and pouring condiments over chaat such as onions etc with her bare hands. I decided not to eat stuff she had poured onions over. Place is clean. Food mediocre. Staff terrible.
This place is a rip off. Went with family for lunch on a weekend and ordered Chicken Biriyani and they brought the old biriyani from the freezer heated up, which can be easily found out from the meat color and it's cold as well. Also the Kebabs were tasteless and so dry. Never ever go there, its one of worst nightmare which even restricted us to dine in on any other restaurants for last 3 weeks. Also the waitress(who was wearing glasses) behaved very rude as if they are giving food for free, and its overpriced too. One of the worst experience in recent times.
This restaurant is owned by the founder/partner of the famous Ravi kabob of Arlington, and offers the same dishes as Ravi but with more upscale ambience, which is very nicely done ,and reminds people of the Indian subcontinent,I went on a cold Saturday evening and the place was empty, and we ordered goat paya and the Ravi signature kabob karahi, which were both delicious and the kabob karahi was similar to the one they serve in Ravi in Arlington, however the portion size looked smaller.
I ate here on 1/8/22. This place was great. I had never had Pakistani food before and decided to try it. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Lamb Tikka. The chickpeas were spicy and flavorful and pair well with rice and naan. But the star of the show? The lamb. The lamb was fire. Tender, flavorful, and that char flavor? So good. Lamb: 10/10. Atmosphere was cool. People were polite. It was a completely pleasant experience. Will def return.
Look at the picture and then ask yourself what is the difference between pictures one and two. The first picture I downloaded from Lakshmi chowk website and the second one I took after I got my order. Long story short “ I order food over the phone and when I ask what comes with the platter, “they said “ Fish, rice, nan, chickpeas, salad and drinks, and the price is 21.99$ .Did you get shocked about the price yet, if you’re not then listen what happened today with me. When they handover the food I asked the lady “ where are the drinks because she told me that platter comes with drinks but she denied and replied “you didn’t ask for any drinks “ ok then , once I open the box I saw there is no salad.Lmao , the fish fry chickpeas isn’t fresh at all and also fish was Scratched as you can see in the picture . This kind of deshi food store is enough to ruin your whole day. Highly recommend not to order their food. Everything is trash except their interior design. lol
Food is delicious! Kitchen is clean and can be inspected by any guest
Really really poor and Awful customer service!!!!They will never welcome the customers with a smile. There is never an apology or “we are sorry” if they mess up your order. They added stuff on our bill that we never ordered. We reserved a table and there was no table reserved for us then they told us you guys can sit on two separate tables. They did not bring our drinks until we asked them again in the middle of our meal, still no sorry instead they were like what drinks did your order? We will not be going back here and If you are looking for a place with good atmosphere , good customer service and where your money spent is actually worth it then this is not the place.
